The two seperate tribes live in one forest. This forest covers many square miles... it's almost a month's ride to get from one side to the other. On the South side of the forest is a mountain where a tribe of Gliders live. They live in peace with a tribe of humans who worship them (I know, real original). On the North side is the desert... hot and dry. Few wolf-riders ever wander out there and live. On the East side of the forest is a marsh and on the West side, the deep vast waters reside. Though its unknown to the other elves, WaveDancers live within the waters there. There are three tribes of humans (see picture) and a river running through the middle of the forest. The land itself is rolling, and there are few flat areas. In the very center of the whole forest is a large circular clearing, where the land is extremely flat. Rarely do the elves go there, preferring the seclusion of the forest. The wide open space is frightening, with nowhere to hide if an enemy appears. The island in the center of the lake may have residents though none of the tribe members know of its existence. Fewer people travel into the Ice Cold than those who travel into the Desert. No one knows the route the trolls take to get to the holts for it seems to never be the same way. I will have some more intricate pictures up... such as of the mountains and lake... I just haven't been able to find the right picture, and as you can all see, I'm no artist. :) So be patient with me. I do have a picture of the waterfall.
