Personality: Riversong loves the freedom she has as a young mature elfess. She enjoys having lots of different lifemates, drinking dreamberry wine in excessive quantities, and generally doing reckless things without worry about anyone else's safety. She does not hide her wildness; on the contrary, she seems to do her best to promote that image. Inside, however, her deepest wish is for a lifemate and a family. She has promised herself that her lifemate will be who she is recognized to. She believes very strongly in the way, and tends to get along better with people who are very opposite in personality. Although usually a very laid back elfess with a great sense of humor, when angry, she is very aggressive. She is down-right violent when frightened. She is very loyal, and will never betray a secret.
Character History: Riversong's mother, Sunrise, was a healer, born in another holt, and left that holt feeling restless and longing for adventure. She was not recognized with and did not love Riversong's father, who was from her old holt. She recognized Treestar, Riversong's adopted father, not long before Riversong was born. He agreed to raise her as his child, and they settled in StarSinger's holt, Where Treestar was born. Treestar was a hunter, and Sunrise found good work for her talents in the holt. When Riversong was 95, Treestar was killed hunting, and Sunrise two years later. Riversong was by that time old enough to care for herself, but she almost went crazy from grief.
