Character History: Her father was fairly distant with his emotional attachments so her mother was the only one whom she bonded with at a deeper level. Unfortunately, her mother was killed by humans when SwiftJewel was young and with a heavy heart moved into her fathers den with his current lover. Her fathers lover was scornful of the girl and would berate her for any little thing that SwiftJewel would do. Her father was blind to this treatment and would leave for months on end without word. SwiftJewel made herself useful by entertaining the cubs and singing to the elders but when her father did not return to the Holt, her fathers lover took on another lover and wanted SwiftJewel to join in their crass affair by rape if need be during drinking bouts. Before SwiftJewel was taken by force she fled from the Holt taking very little with her but her mothers lock of hair her loyal bond and the memory of her fathers abandonment.
