Windflower
This mare was born at the Academy and is in no hurry to leave it. It is her home, and if anything scares her about Bonding it's the prospect of leaving it someday.
Windflower is a tiny, dainty unicorn, very feminine, sweet mannered and graceful. It seems easier to picture her with mane and tail bound up with flowers, gracefully gliding across a sun-dappled meadow--- than practicing battle maneuvers or rolling in the mud on a hot summer day. Actually, she can easily rough it up with the best of her larger friends but she does it somehow without ever losing that graceful, feminine air.
Possessed with a keen mind, Windflower loves debates and discussions and can even top some of the older 'corns at times. She'll argue with you with that logic of hers, give you a charming look, and next thing you know, your be agreeing with her point of view. Besides, most of her opinions are usually right; she very carefully considers all sides of an argument before forming her own opinion. Some might call her wishy-washy, but she just enjoys tossing around an opinion for a while before settling on a definite conclusion. Still, sometimes her conversations with others can be quite frustration as she vacillates from one point of view to the next. When she tries, though, she's quite a diplomat and a great political ally whatever your cause. Of course, first she has to make up her mind!
Windflower has the power of create poison, which she secretes out of the tip of her horn. While she's been practicing and certainly experimenting with different types of posion, right now her talents are restricted to the non-fatal varieties. Itching poisons are her specialty! She is named for a beautiful, but very poisonous, plant. An average fighter, but her "stinger" (poison-tip horn) is quite an asset!
