Silk is a wildborn of the West Groley Herd. A mare with a calm disposition, this one does not have a lot to say, but when she does, the herd generally listens. Intelligent and diplomatic, Silk has been given her name by Academy scholars as a direct reflection of her powers. Just like the silk spider, she can create a wispy, web-like substance that sticks to objects. These colorful, gossamer strands can be used to ensnare victims. While it does not render one incapable of moving, it does provide an excellent diversion as it clings like cobwebs to surfaces.
Though she is wildborn, Silk does not have an aversion to humans. She can see the wisdom in such unicorn/human alliances, but she herself has no desire to share a bond. Somewhat aloof, she tends to keep her distance from the majority of the herd. Not because she dislikes their company, but simply because the activity tends to tire her. She cherishes her personal space and jealously guards her private time, enjoying a quiet area where she can soak up the sun and close her eyes.
Recently, a rumor has started among the herd that this mare has shown a soft spot for human children. Viewing them from afar, she develops a dreamy look to her eyes. She has successfully foaled three offspring.
A powerful, but slow fighter.
