Rockleaper was a human friendly wildborn who joined the Academy out of curiousity and was most admired for his inquisitiveness and outgoing nature, extremely rare qualities for a wildborn to possess. Nothing is recorded of his mate Goldengail, except that her dam was Flax, one of the first Bonded unicorns and an Elder for a very brief period before her death.

One other thing, however, Rockleaper & Goldengail were said to have had a son, Rumble's full brother, who was expelled from the Academy for some atrocious crime. The name of this unicorn, and the exact nature of the crime are unknown.
