talent: Oriole can shapeshift into a small spotted female oriole for up to half an hour.
history & personality: Oriole doesn't believe herself to be very pretty, but she doesn't care much. When she was younger she used to be jealous of Azalea and all of the more graceful mares, but now Oriole is proud to be so solidly built, so rough n'tumble. She is playful, but shy--preferring to spend her time getting rolling in the mud (she loves to get messy and dirty!), galloping at top speed across the unBonded's Meadow, knocking her body against the Academy's apple and pear trees (so the yummy fruit will fall from their branches!), shapeshifting into her newfound bird form and flying over the Academy, or playing "lancer" in the fields with her horn: running past objects like fruit or loaves of bread and trying to spear as many as she can without missing. She is very physical though not un-intelligent, though tending towards the practical more than the erudite. Because she prefers to spend her time alone, she doesn't participate in any unicorn athletic activities, though with a little time she might develop into a spectacular player. She just doesn't have the interest, however. Her fighting abilities, however, have advanced marvelously over the past few years and her fearlessness and uninhabitedness in mock battles has made her an intimidating opponent, even to those few 'corns who are more skilled than she. She has an appealing innocence about her and is very well-liked, even if she prefers to spend most of her time alone.
