Kalandra Lynn

Kalandra Lynn stands about 5'5". She has long black hair (with purple highlights in the sunlight) Her tresses reach down to her waist, although most of the time she wears it up in a pony tail which makes it shoulder length. It used to be curly, but the formula is wearing off and it is now straightening out. She wears the front in feathery bangs that frame her face. She has a strong jawline, high cheekbones and a sensual mouth. Her large, almond-shaped eyes are an 'amethyst' violet. Long black lashes can dip down to hide her eyes when she is embarrassed, (usually by her fainting spells!) She has dimples on both sides of her mouth which lend her smiles and grins an infectious quality. Wide hips and a healthy bustline give her a decidedly feminine, curvey figure. She has an innocence about her and she is very compassionate and loving, a result of her up-bringing. She will on occasion make a stand if the circumstances call for it, but she prefers to avoid confrontation.

Kalandra was raised in a small village on the outskirts of Groley Woods, called Woodburro. Thus named because of the vast amount of lumber business and the fact most of the community used the oft forgotten and much maligned burros for labor. The youngest of seven children and the only girl, Kalandra was raised by loving, wonderful parents who deserved all of the great respect and love they recieved. Kal's brothers while making her life an eternity of misery through merciless teasing, still loved her and would allow no one but blood to mistreat their little sister. Subject to mysterious fainting spells from the age of two, the family would not allow Kal to be with them in the forest and tended to overprotect her. Thus Kal spent many hours wrapped up in books and in her pursuit of music on the 'kedar'. Playing one of her own compositions for her family on one occasion changed her music into a private thing thereafter. A good-hearted Aunt misunderstood it completely. After publicly humiliating Kal, Kal swore to keep her music to herself. Kal has an inferiority complex of sorts because she never seemed to do as well as her brothers. She was thrilled at the chance to go study at the Academy. When first allowed a glimpse at the unicorns, Kal fainted. Thus her terrible reputation developed. At this point even Kal still doesn't have a clue as to why this happens to her. It is a great source of embarrassment and insecurity. Kal has tried a little
TOO hard since arriving at the Academy. Thus some of her less than gracious, less than tactful actions of the past. Kal is bonded to a most breathtaking unicorn in her opinion.
