A few months older than Shadowstalker, Farsight, whose herd
name is a feeling of distance, was one of
those mares who left her birth herd to search for one starting up.
A herd where she had no relations and for adventure and excitement. What
she found was Shadowstalker and his then fledling herd of 5 mares. Farsight
soon became his favorite mate and another stallion was allowed to join
to keep the other mares
happy.
Helping to build and defend a new herd was something new and exciting
for Farsight. Even when a new mare, then four year old Image joined the
herd and soon became another of Shadowstalker's favorites. Now forced to
share her mate, instead of being upset, Farsight actually welcomed having
help with their
energetic mate. And the next year, she had something new enter her
life. A tiny bundle of spindly little
legs and big innocent eyes in the form of her first foal, Moonwalk.
Now an older and wiser mare, Farsight still misses Shadowstalker's third mate and is actually looking for another mare, with Image's help to add to Shadowstalker's personal mates. Farsight has the ability to focus her vision up to 20 miles away picking out minute details as if it were in front of her. Effective, though not skilled fighter.
