Ember, like her dam, has a fire based power. She can't create fire,
but she can control it. As her skill over her talent increases with practice,
she should be able to make it burn as hot as a forge or dampen its heat
to a gentle warmth. While controlling the heat levels, she also can control
the size of the flame, meaning that she could make a candle flame that
burned with the heat of a bonfire and a bonfire that burned with very little
heat at all. She can even put a small fire out. She is currently
experimenting with the length of time she can exert this control, but still
requires several years of practice. It's a highly adaptable skill
and her teachers are working with her in a variety of practical situations
so that she can explore the various applications for her talent.
One of the control exercises they have her work on is the controlled formation
of shapes within the flames, with which she entertains her friends.
