You may not use these characters, or Eos, Katy, Beth, and Eve, in your fanfics. The only other person who may is my best friend Bess (Sailor Comet), who helped me invent these characters and improved my story. Oh, and if Eve ever decides to write fanfics, she may use them also. Enjoy! ************************ Sailor Moon L Chapter 1 Legendary Awakening ************************ 'BEEP BEEP BEEP' "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna be LAAAAAATTE!!!" 14 year old Katy shrieked as she sat bolt upright in bed. "Stupid alarm clock. It never goes off when I want it to." The pretty brunette sighed and quickly threw on her school uniform. 'Same old uniform, perfect for the same old school, and it was going to be the same, boring old day', Katy thought gloomily. She couldn't have been more wrong. Katy was really very pretty. In fact, she and her best friend Beth were the two most beautiful girls in the whole school. That was one of the reasons they had the jobs that they did, and at such a young age. Katy had fabulous, thick, light chestnut hair that swung around her shoulders. She had sparkling blue eyes and a gorgeous figure. She had a perfect height of 5' 2", and she could eat almost anything and not gain a pound. Even more amazing was her sense of fashion. It helped that she looked good in almost any color, but still. Everyone knew that she made most of her great wardrobe, and there was a rumor that she had designed most of it too. Some people even thought she might have a part time job as a designer for some major company. If only they knew! Katy glanced at her watch again. 'Oh shoot! I've been daydreaming! I'm gonna be laaaate!'. She quickly shrugged on her coat and grabbed her bag. "Bye Mom" she yelled over her shoulder as she ran out the door. ******************************************************************************** Serena Tsukino giggled as she lounged on the couch that morning. No school! Thanks to the gas leak in her school, there would be no classes that day. She couldn't believe her luck. 'I wonder what's on TV' she thought, and began to flip through the channels. 'Oh, a fashion show! Cool!' The blonde watched as two models walked onto the stage. They looked rather alike, as though they were sisters. They both had dark, shoulder length hair which swirled around their faces beautifully. Their big brown eyes were filled with innocence and pleasure at the job they were doing. Neither was very tall, but their great figures made up for that. Serena stared longingly at them. 'I wish I could look like that' she thought sadly. Suddenly she moved closer to the screen, staring curiously. "But they're only my age!" she shrieked. "No, one of them is younger!" She was right. The two models were really not that old. One was about fourteen and the other looked to be about eleven. "No fair!" Serena pouted. "I should be the one up there." "It takes more than looks to be a model" said her mother as she walked into the room. "You have to have talent too." "Not that you have the looks anyway." giggled her brother Sammy. "Shut it, Sammy. Unless you don't wanna make it to high school." Serena growled as she settled back down to continue watching the fashion show. The two models were wearing beautiful dresses which made them look like princesses. Suddenly a third model walked onto the stage in another dress. Serena gasped as the announcer introduced her. This girl was none other than the designer herself! This girl also looked about fourteen. She had beautiful thick chestnut hair and big blue eyes. Her flawless figure showed off the dress perfectly at all the right places. 'Lucky her. She gets to be a designer and a model at age fourteen!'. She listened as the announcer gave their names. 'Kathleen, Bethany, and Everlyn? They must be pen names. I wonder why they don't use their real names?' ******************************************************************************** "Oh my God, I am so late, I am so LATE!" Katy cried on her mad rush to school. "It's a private school, damn it, when are they gonna take the time to get busses?" Rounding a corner, Katy saw a fawn colored kitten sitting on a fence, watching her intently. For a split second, Katy could have sworn she saw a crescent moon embedded in the cat's forehead. Then she shook her head and giggled. 'Girl, you have been watching way too much TV.' ******************************************************************************** Katy finally arrived at school, late as usual (AN: but you knew that, right? Sorry, couldn't resist:) , and gained detention for her tardiness, (as usual!). At lunch she looked around for Beth. She spotted Beth at the same moment that Heda spotted her. Heda was the stupidest, fattest, ugliest guy in the whole school. He had a crush on Katy. Of course, this wasn't gossip- every guy in the school had a crush on either Katy or Beth. Sometimes both. But no one had been able to find a way to their hearts. It wasn't that Katy and Beth were mean. When asked out, they declined politely. It wasn't that they hated boys, some of their best friends were boys. Just not boyfriends. Most guys had realized that they didn't want boyfriends, and had become satisfied with just being their friend. Heda, unfortunately, could not get that through his thick skull and was still trying to get Katy to go out with him. Beth was sitting at a table with their friends. Katy ran over to greet them, and Heda followed her. Katy didn't notice him until Beth raised an eyebrow and motioned behind her. Katy turned and saw Heda. She was getting pretty tired of his attempts to make her fall in love with him, and it took everything she had to keep herself from smacking him clear across the room. "What do you want?" she asked finally. Heda grinned, glad she was paying attention to him for once. "Will you go out with me?" he asked hopefully. "For the last time, NO. Now leave me alone. I'm sick of you bothering me." "Why not? I'll loose weight, I'll do anything." "In case you hadn't noticed, I've declined going out with the cutest guys in the school, so there's no reason why I would bother going out with you. Those boys have become satisfied with just being my friends. I have nothing against you, but I will if you continue bugging me." "But..." "Heda, you want to loose twenty pounds of weight? Cut your ugly head off." With that, Katy turned and marched over to her friends, who applauded her. "That was great!" "I'm glad you finally decided to stand up for yourself." "Here, have a brownie." "SUGAR? WHERE?" Heda was still standing where she had left him, trying to work out what she had said. "I don't get it. What's so funny?" he muttered to no one in particular. Nobody bothered to answer. CRASH!!! Everyone turned towards the sound, and gasped. A monster was standing in the middle of the room, looking around. It wasn't very big, but nobody wanted to bet on how strong it was. It's skin was green, and lumpy, and it held an ax in one hand. The youma growled and reached for the nearest person. Heda. Before anyone could think, the monster was gone, and Heda was holding the ax, his eyes glowing a sinister red. "Give me all your energy." he hissed. "I need donations for Queen Beryl and the Negaverse." Katy had just begun to back toward the door when the monster/Heda thrust out a palm and began absorbing everyone's energy. "Quick! Get Beth and get out into the hall!" a small voice said from behind her. Katy spun around. "Who said that?" she called, seeing no one. "I did." Katy looked down and saw the fawn kitten she'd seen that earlier that morning. She almost fainted. "You did?" "There's no time to explain. Get your friend and find a place where you won't be seen!" Katy nodded. ******************************************************************************** Two minutes later, everyone in the lunch room was unconscious from the energy drainage. Heda/the youma chuckled evilly. "This should be plenty of energy. Queen Beryl will be most pleased." He turned to leave. "Stop right there!" "Who are you?" Heda/youma snarled, turning. Two girls stood back to back in the doorway. They were both wearing sailor scout outfits. One had a lavender fuku and baby pink bows. She wore violet strappy heels and a pale purple sailor collar. Her seashell shaped broach was pinned on her front bow and seashells adorned her choker, tiara, and earrings. Her chestnut hair framed her beautiful face and blue eyes. The other girl was slightly shorter than the first. Her bows, collar, and fuku were all a simple rainbow. She had silver strappy heels and her broach was a crystal-like star (AN: think heart crystals from Sailor Moon S). Her earrings, tiara, and choker matched her broach, and her shoulder length dark hair was pulled back in a half-ponytail. "I stand for peace!" cried the first. "And I stand for truth!" said the second. "Codename Sailor Seashell!" "Codename Sailor Comet!" "YO!" they announced simultaneously. "On behalf of peace and truth..." began Comet. "...We will fight to reduce fat and triumph over idiocy!" finished Seashell. "Uh... Seashell? Are you feeling okay?" "I'm fine. I just had too many brownies at lunch." "Huh?" "I'm on a sugar spree!!" Comet rolled her eyes, and Seashell grinned sheepishly. "Sorry." "Right..." "Now let's kick some Nega-butt!" A scepter appeared in each of their hands. Seashell's was white with a seashell on the end. Comet's had a dark purple handle with her trademark star at the tip. "All right, youma, you'd better come out and confront us before we have to come and get you!" yelled Seashell. "A bit pushy, aren't you?" said the youma sarcastically as he appeared. Heda's eyes went blank and he collapsed on the floor. The monster began to gather dark energy in his hands. "SEASHELL CORAL WAVE!" "COMET FIRE BALL!" The youma didn't know what hit it. The last anyone ever saw of it was a pile of dust on the cafeteria floor. Seashell walked over and spat at it. "Nega-filth" she muttered. "Seashell, we need to go. The students are coming to, and we can't let them see us. Eos says we must awaken the last legendary scout. She says that my sister is Sailor Sun." "Cool. Comet, we're gonna have to transfer schools to Crossroads Junior High. Eos is positive that our reincarnated princess is located somewhere in that area." "No problem. I've always hated this boring private school anyway." ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* So whadaya think? Like? Hate? Sugestions? Flames? Begging for more? Gimme feedback! My inbox is hungry! lol :P
