The blue haired girl blinked looked faintly supprised then smiled softly. She walked towards Zoicite. " It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Amy Mizuno." Zoicite stared at the blue eyed girl for a moment then grinned. " As Darien told you I am Zoicite Carmicheal. I live four doors down from him." Amy smiled then turned back to her friends, " I have to get back to the hospital, Serena should stay in bed and rest for the rest of the day." Darien and the other two nodded and Amy smiled grabbing her labcoat from the coat rack. Zoitcite stood and smiled, " I should be going also, I have work in a couple hours." He turned and caught up to Amy in the hall, " So you're a doctor?" Amy nodded, " Yes." Zoicite had a sudden urge to get to know the girl better, ' Umm Amy i know we just met but do you think i can take you out to dinner sometime.?" But as much as she tried she couldn't get the image of sad haunting green eyes from her mind, nor the deep voice of Zoicite Carmicheal. One 1/2 months later ~ Amy stood rubbing her lower back and sighed, then bent over little Jims broken arm and finished the cast. " Now Jim I want you to watch next time you go roller blading around a corner. And I want you to stay off your skates for three weeks. Then come back in and I'll see how the bone is." " Yes Dr. Mizuno," the small brown haired child said as he jumped off the examining table. Amy walked back to her office and smiled at Tira and her mother. Tirana Yosita was another doctor that had been stuffed into the tiny office. " Hey Tira hey mother," Amy said plopping down and sipping at the orange lemon tea Tira handed her. " Amy Serena's baby showers tonight right?" Mrs. Mizuno asked her daughter. " Yes mother," Amy replied rubbing at the aching muscles in her neck. " Amy you should leave early today, I'll finish your shift." Tira said smiling. Amy grinned back, " You really do that?" " Sure thing!" " Okay but before I leave I have to go over to the medical student center and check on things for the lecture next week." Mrs. Mizuno smiled at her daughter, " Serena's due in a couple weeks isn't she?" Amy nodded and sighed grinning, " Poor Darien, he doesn't know what to make of Serena. And Serena's so misrable that she can't move without getting a new cramp." Tira, and Amy's Mother laughed along with Amy then the threesom stood and sighed collectively. " back to the coal mines," Tira said " Well it's like I always told Amy when she was growing up. 'No rest for the wicked.'" Mrs. Mizuno said. They parted company and amy headed for the overhead walkway that joined Tokyo Hospital and the Tokyo Medical Student Center. She walked acrossed it pulling off her lab coat and draping it over her arm. Under it she had been wearing a short skirted blue taffeta dress. She entered the Student facilities and smiled seeing the students running back and forth. Amy walked to the main information desk and smiled at the young woman behind it, " Hello I am looking for Professure Z." The woman eyed Amy then smiled, " Go down that hall make a left and his is the first office on the right." Amy nodded and turned saying thanks over her shoulder, she walked down the hall scurrying out of the way of a rishing student and knocked gently on the door. Noone answered so she tried the knob. It was unlocked so she walked in and froze. " Oh it's you..." She said blinking softly Zoicite looked up at his door being opened and frowned softly, " Amy Right?" Amy nodded softly, " I had no idea that you were the head professure at the Center." Zoicite smiled softly, " And I had no idea that you were a doctor at the hospital next to us." A man cleared his throat from the shadows drawing attention of both Amy and Zoicite, " Are you not going to introduce me to your friend cousin?" Zoicite blinked, " Oh yes Dr.Mizuno this is my cousin Nephrite Erickson." Amy blinked and shook her head smiling at the tall gentleman with long brown hair. Blue eyes were shinning from under his feathery bangs. " A pleasure Mr. Erickson," Amy said bowing slightly from the waist. Nephrite nodded slightly. Amy shook her head to clear it, " I was sent here to check on the lecture for next week." Zoicite nodded, " Ah yes, You are still avalible to do it are you not?" Amy nodded, " I am, my Mother will also be joining in on it." Zoicite grinned, " That will be fine." Amy smiled flirtaseously at Zoicite, " If that is all I have a prior engagement." Zoicite grinned, " That is all I require." Amy excused herself and headed for the elevator, with the time off because of Tira taking her shift she could go back to the apartment and help the girls set up. Amy drove home and parked she frowned at the note attached to the door saying that the babyshower was now at Serena and Dariens. So she got back into her car and drove the two miles to their apartment and climbed the stairs. Supprisingly she ran into Zoicite and Nephrite in the hallway. " Oh hello again," Amy said smiling. " Good evening." Nephrite said winking jokingly at her. Amy turned to walk off then paused, " I was just going to Serena and Dariens for a baby shower. Would the two of you like to join us?" Zoicite and Nephrite exchanged a look then nodded and followed Amy the four doors down. Amy entered the apartment without knocking and grinned at the others; Raye,Lita,Mina,Michelle,Hotaru,Amara,Mrs.&Mr. Tuskino,Molly,Melvin and Sammy were all gathered into Serena and Dariens four room apartment. " Hey guys I brought two more guests, You already know Zoicite. And this is cousin Nephrite Erickson." The inner scouts and Darien all zeroed in on Zoicite and Nephrite that anyother people might of squirmed. Even Luna and Artemis were staring hard at them. Lita had a strangely dazed look on her face as she looked and Nephrite and he was mirroring the look. Zoicite leaned over to his cousin and whispered, " Hey Nephrite, even the cats are staring at us." Nephrite shook his head and looked around, " Huh?" Zoicite rolled his eyes and walked over to Serena and Darien, " Nice to see you again when you're not out cold. You're looking bigger then before." Serena smiled and blushed, " Thank you please enjoy yourselves tonight. Lita has prepared enough foor for 100 people." Lita blushed and glared at her very pregnant friend, " I have to go check on the food. Feel free to find a seat." Zoicite nodded, but Nephrite followed Lita into the fullsized kitchen. Lita was busy walking around the kitchen checking her food and pulling things out of the oven to cool that she didn't see Nephrite standing in the doorway until she bumped into him. She almost dropped tray of rolls as images flashed through her mind. (The Images) Lita talking with Serena and the other inners as they studied for school. Lita helping Serena up after crashing into Nephrite in the guise of Maxwell Stanton. Lita spying on Nephrite and Molly as they enjoyed a chocolate parfey. Lita as Princess Jupiter on the moon in the silver millinum practicing her powers with one of Prince Dariens Generals. Lita as Princess Jupiter on Jupiter in her secret place waiting for some one. Lita as Princess Jupiter crying in her room when it had been forbidden by Queen Serenity for the gaurd of Princess Serena to become involved with Prince Dariens generals. Lita as Sailor Jupiter as she fights the negaverse on earth. Fighting against the same general that she had once unknowingly loved. Lita as Sailor Jupiter the night Nephrite died years ago. Lita as Sailor Jupiter in the fight against Queen Beryl. Lita as Sailor Jupiter fighting agianst Ann and Allen. Lita as Sailor Jupiter FIghting against the heart snatchers and trying to understand why Sailor Uranus and Neptune wont fight with them. Lita as Sailor Jupiter fighting against the Amazon Trio and later the Amazon Quartet. Lita on the day of Serena and Dariens' wedding standing in the shadows feeling lonely. ( End Images ) Lita backed up until she felt the bite of the counter top in her spine. She set the rolls on the counter unaware of the of the shocked look in Nephrites eyes. Or the strange stares that everyone was giving them. Nephrite took and deep breath and shoved a shaking hand through his shoulder length brown hair.He had seen the strange images that had been in Lita's mind but he didn't know what they ment. He was staring at Lita who was staring back suddenly remberence slamed into him causing him to cry out and double over, he was vaugely aware of Zoicite, Amy and Darien running over to him asking him; " Are you alright? " " Nephrite are you okay?" Zoicite asked not having a clue of what was going on. Nephrite tried to answer but was bombarded with images from from within. (Images) Nephrite as one of the Prince Dariens four generals walking with his prince and friends on a beach next to the earth palace. Nephrite as one of the generals dueling with a young princess Jupiter on the moon. Both of them tried to master their growing powers. Nephrite on Jupiter meeting his Princess in the woods on Jupiter. Nephrite Rage at Queen Serenity for separating him from his love. Nephrite fighting Beryls attack on earth. Nephrite being turned to Beryls side and attacking the moon. Nephrite killing the Princess of Jupiter. Nephrite in the guise of Maxwell Stanton admiring the tall brunette as she helped her friend on the ground. Nephrite eatting chocolate parfey with a small red haired girl. Nephrite dying in that same girls arms. Nephrite being reborn, and having no memory of his past. Nephrite finding his cousin Zoicite. And together building their lives up. Nephrite tonight meeting Amy Mizuno's friends. (End Images) When the images had stopped Nephrite was curled into a small ball on the floor by the door. Everyone was looking at him consernedly except for Lita, Serena and Darien. Zoicite was frowning softly. ' He doesn't remember...' Nephrite thought to himself as he pulled himself into a sitting position and looked at Lita. Lita's eyes were tearing and she was shaking her head no. Over and over again whispering someting under her breath that he couldn't hear. " I think We should take these two down to Zoicites apartment so they can settle down and talk." Darien said helping his old general to his feet. " Yea sure... " Zoitcite said and handed Darien the key. " You and Serena take them," Darien took the key and lead Nephrite out of the apartment and down the hall to Zoicites. Serena walked over to Lita and stood on tiptoe whispering something into her ear. Lita nodded and walked to the door waiting for Serena. Serena turned to face the others, " Please enjoy yourselves, Darien,Nephrite,Lita and I will be back shortly." Then she turned and walked with Lita down to Zoicites apartment. Zoicites apartment ~ Darien sat Nephrite on the couch and poured him a drink thinking that the poor guy needed it. He looked up when Serena and Lita entered the room. Eye looked at Lita who was staring directly at Nephrite and decided that she probaly needed a drink too. Serena sat Lita on the couch next to Nephrite and walked over to Darien taking his hand in hers rubbing her stomache gently. She hadn't been feeling very well all day. Darien started the descision bluntly, " So you remember?" Nephrite and Lita blinked and looked at their Prince and Princess, " Yes," They said in a monotone voice together. Serena sighed wanting to go to her friend and knowing that it wasn't a good idea, " Darien and I have seen some of what you saw in the other apartment. But not much, our telepathic abilities are still dormant and probaly will never be what they once were." Nephrite stood and dropped to his knees infront of Serena and Darien his head bowed, " Please your Highness's forgive me for what I have done in the past and the present." Darien and Serena looked at eachother, slowly Serena nodded at Darien, " There is nothing to forgive General Nephrite. At least not by My Princess nor I. We understand what you went through, but we are willing to take you back. You were my bestfriend one time Nephrite and a trusted warrior. You will be so again if youso wish to be." Darien said squeezing Serena's hand gently. Nephrite lifted his head slowly and stared into the to honest faces of his once bestfriends, " I wish to be one of your gaurds agian." Darien nodded and lead Serena to the door, " We believe that you and Lita have some things to discuss so we will go back to our babyshower join us when you are ready." Serena said looking once at her friend before leaving the apartment. Lita looked at Nephrite wanting to go to him but not. " Well..." She said " Well..." Nephrite repeated not knowing what to say They stared at eachother for what seemed like hours but was really minutes, then Nephrite moved over to her and knelt infront of the couch at her feet. " Princess Lita, I know what I did to your friends and you was terrible. But I was not myself, I was under Queen Beryls control. I know that, that does not excuse my actions but you are still my Princess. I love you as much as I ever did." Nephrite swallowed hard then continued, " If you could find it in your heart to forgive me. I would still like to make you my wife. I should of done it years ago but Queen Serenity wouldn't allow it." Nephrite stared up at Lita after he was done, and Lita stared back at him. Then just about the time Nephrite was feeling foolish Litaleaned down and kissed Nephrite. Nephrite blinked and pulled away, " I take that for I'm forgiven." Lita nodded, " You are, but if you ever do something like that again to me it's into the dungeon for you mister." Nephrite smiled and kissed Lita passionately, "I... Don't... Have... a... ring yet," He said between kisses. " I don't care," Lita said kissing him with all the love in her soul. Serena and Dariens Apartment ~ Serena had just finished opening the presents when Andrew went down on one knee infront of Michelle and pulled out a small aqua box. Michelle smiled down at her boyfriend, " Michelle..." Andrew began then cleared his throat because Michelle's name had come out a squeak. " Michelle would you please marry me?" He asked a short applause was heard from the crowd then quiet as they waited on Michelle's answer. Michelle looked at her cousin Amara who was wrapped around her boyfriend Tirance. Amara gave a small almost unseen nod and Michelle smiled at Andrew, " Of course I will Sugah," She said in her best american southern drawl. A loud applause was heard then Serena's gasp of shock, Darien looked at his wife, " Serena...?" Serena blinked and looked down, a small puddle could be seen under her, " I believe my water just broke." SHe said softly There was total chaos, Darien& kenji turned pale, Ilene and Sammy started to panick, Raye started parking out orders and Amy picked up the phone to call the hospital. She hung up the phone and tried to tell the chaotic crowd that they hospital was waiting for them but she couldn't be heard above the noise. Zoicite looked down at his hopeful girlfriend and then to the large crowed of panicing people. " OKAY! AMY CALLED THE HOSPITAL," He yelled his face turning red. Everyone stopped mid motion, Zoicite smiled, " Much better, okay Serena, Darien, Amy, Raye, Mr.&Mrs. Tuskino. You go now to the hospital. The rest of use will follow soon, Mina please go get my cousin and Lita from my apartment down the hall, number 243." " Okay," Mina said. Soon Serena and her family were on their way to the hospital with Amy and Raye. " Serena always has to outstage an anouncement," Andrew complained and grinned at his fiancee. Michelle rolled her eyes and helped put the food into the frige for later. " Let's go, Mina, Lita and Nephrite will follow soon." Zoicite said and the rest of the crowd in Serena and Darien's apartment left. Mina opened the door to see Lita and Nephrite making out on the couch, " YOU GUYS!" She shouted causing Nephrite who had been balanced unsteadily over Lita to fall on the floor. Lita looked up at Mina's panicked face and jumped off the couch. " What is it?!" She asked her blonde friend. " Serena was just rushed to the hospital her water broke." Nephrite and Lita ran with Mina down the hall and out into the cool night air. " She's early," Lita said as Nephrite drive them to the hospital. " I know," Mina said looking worried " How Early?" Nephrite asked running two redlights and pulling into the parkinglot of the hospital. " About two weeks," Lita said as they rushed out of the car and into the building. They pounded up to the third floor and through the halls until they reached the delivery room Serena's family and the others were all gathered in the waiting room. " Nephrite wrapped his arms around Lita and leaned against a wall staring at the closed door. Darien was pacing outside the door because Amy and Zoicite wouldn't let him in. Andrew looked up and smiled at Lita, " Oh incase Mina didn't tell you, Michelle and I are getting married." Lita smiled and walked over to Andrew and Michelle, " That's great, Oh I almost forgot. Nephrite and I are engaged as well." "YOU'RE WHAT?!" Everyone yelled causing Lita to laugh softly. She noticed that the inner and outter scouts were giving her worried looks along with the knights. " He remembers," Was all she said before walking back over to Nephrite. The scouts and knights nodded in understanding left it at that. Serena's parents and a couple of their friend who didn't know about her duel idenity were casting worried looks in her direction. 12 hours Later ~ " Come Serena push!" Amy said staring at her sweating friend over her surgical mask. " I can't... Ames." Serena panted softly Amy frowned down at her friend she couldn't allow her to die. " You have got to Serena, now push and that's an order!" Serena seemed to find that funny because she laughed a dry cracking sound. Zoicite wiped the sweat from Serena's brow and looked at AMy who looked like she was about to cry or howl. Maybe both, Zoicite felt awful. Suddenly he remember the dormant power that he had, " Amy I'm going to put my hand on her stomache and press, when I tell you too you have to try and pull the baby out." he said taking off his surgical gloves and placing his hands on Serena's rounded stomache. Amy frowned at Zoicite then looked at her tired friend, she didn't have many choiced left. She nodded to Zoicite and closed her eyes. Zoicite leaned down close to Serena's ear and whispered softly, " I'm sorry Serena but this will hurt, I can stop some of the pain but not all." Serena who was dellussional coundn't understand Zoicite to when he placed his glowing blue hands on her stomache again all she felt was a chilling coolness then a large amount of pain when he pressed down on her swollen belly, she couldn't help it she screamed and screame duntil her throat was dry then she still screamed. " Now Amy!" Zoicite said increasing the power inside him and making more of the soothing coolness enter Serena's body. Amy nodded and reaching into Serena and supprisingly pulled the baby out easily. In the Waiting room ~ Darien heard Serena's screams and ran for the closed door, Andrew and Tirance's hands stopped him before he could go in. " Let me GO! Serena's dying in there!" Darien shouted out of his mind with worry. Andrew shooking his head slowly, " You know that she's not Darien." Darien was trying to struggle out of their grasp when Lita held a finger to her mouth, " Shhh..." Soon they could hear the loud healthy wail of a baby. Amy entered the waiting room carrying a small child with pale pink fuzz crowning it's head. " Darien I would like you to say hello to you're daughter." She said handing Darien the small child. Darien craddled his daughter and smiled at his friends and family. " I will name her Rini," He said knowing that to most of the people in the room it didn't come as a suprise. Amy smiled and looked at the others, " You can go into the room now Serena's sleeping from the ordeal but she'll be fine in a couple of days." The group moved into the room and Darien laid his daughter in her mothers arms, smiling when the small pink head went right for one of breast that held the childs food. Darien leaned down and whispered in his wifes ear. " Our daughter is here Serena."
