The Boz Badgers are here to serve and keep the peace. As I've stated before, the Badgers of Boz can be used by anybody. They are kind of an emergency escape - a feature unique to the Boz. Instead of god-moding your character out of trouble, just bring in the badgers - Public characters. Here are their descriptions so you will know how to play them:
Tendi, the bar and kitchen overseer, is Khobor's wife. She is gruff and will not stand for nonsense. She is the type who is apt to leap into any unfair frays with a frying pan or rolling pin - whatever's closest.
Bourgon is a jolly cook - fat, but a badger none-the-less.
Tadan is the assistant cook. He is learning from Bourgon.
Mayla helps prepare dishes and brings out food to the customers like a waitress. She and Tadan are both young badgers who have something going for each other. She calls him Tader and he gets miffed because he figures he's too old for that name now.
Tragan is basically a dishwasher. Tendi got angry with him once for over-charging the customers at the bar and sent him back to the kitchens.
Khobor, the dungeon master, is very large and has silver-tipped fur. He's older, but not weaker. Very tough guy - the boss badger, really.
Krayal and Murdon, the prison guards, are like over-enthusiastic cops. Tough, hard-core, and kinda mean.
Nordake, the resident doctor, is a serious surgeon - like any doctor his words are clipped, to the point, and professional.
Tonkis is head nurse. There are quite a few nurses that work under her (many non-badgers too). They are mostly volunteers and apprentices - hard to keep track of. But everyone gets mad when their patients are bothered - even the patient hedgehogs.
Keery is a hedgehog nurse who is a more permanent employee.
Orlah, the infirmary secretary, is there to keep track of patients, their diagnoses, and how long they stay, etc....
Deeda is a young, pretty badgermaid - the daughter of Tendi and Khobor. She flirts shyly, but does what she's supposed to - takes care of the Room & Board.
Darei and Sabah clean up the Room & Board (someone's gotta do it - and it's a full-time job). They do laundry and change the sheets, dump garbage, sweep floors....and clean the bathroom.
Lemmy, the Boz accountant, is a skinny nerdy badger (if such a thing exists). He works in the infirmary office, though his job covers the bar finaces as well.
Grissle, the cartaker, is like those old school janitors - really quiet, kinda scraggly, and kinda spooky. Doesn't talk to anyone. He takes care of the gardens and the tree.
Caro and Frey are basically janitors. They work inside the hall. They do basic cleaning and help with the kegs and new shipments. They also keep the fireplaces and torches lit.
Dante cuts the firewood and fixes anything wooden. Dante is very large and, needless to say, good with the axe.
Rorin is also a big badger - wide, thick, and has silver streaks on his cheeks. He's an older badger too. Works with chisel and stonework, and when he must, lays bricks. But he considers himself an artist.
