Authors Ramblings (Please read this before the fic). This is my first attempt to write a songfic. I was dared at a friends party, yesterday, to sing this song in music's class,'cause they all know that I don't really like Spice Girls. While I was trying to remember the lyrics, the idea hit me. Anyway, I didn't wanna talk about this. If you have a Spice Girls CD or cassette, then try to find it and listen to the song called "denying". Afterwards read the fic. this will make stuff a bit more comprehensive. ^_^ . I was on a really big sugar-high, so it may be funny only for me. You were warned. But please read it and review it after reading.
Disclaimer: I don't own the HP characters. I don't own the song called "denying". Spice Girls own it.
Denying
It was the last dinner before the Christmas break, and everybody was talking about their plans for it.
-Are you staying at Hogwarts for the holidays, Harry? asked Ron on the last dinner before the Christmas holidays.
-What do you expect me to do, go back to the Dursleys to spend nice holidays? anwered Harry.
-Nah, you know very well that I wasn't talking about that. My mum invited you to the the Burrier for the holidays. But, if you don't want to , I can always stay here at school with you for the holidays
-Why, don't you want to go home for the holidays? I'd think that you enjoy going home during the holidays.
-If you'd hear Percy singing carrols, then you'd understand why I don't really want to go home for the holi...
He was interrupted by the sound of a little bell that Dumledore rang whenever he had an important announcement to make.
-Good evning. Before you decide whether you're going to stay at Hogwarts or go home for the holidays,started Dumbledore, winking at Harry and Ron, I've got an announcement to make. We've decided to organise an other Chrristmas Ball this year. And because of the popular demand of the students, you may sing songs during the party. If you feel like singing, contact Mr. Snape tomorow before noon.
-Why are we supposed to talk to Professor Snape about singing? asked a bewildered Cho.
-I heard that he was a singer for the Muggles before he came to Hogwarts. answered Gina, Cho's friend.

-Hermione, do you know who is going to sing? asked Harry. They were sitting in the Great Hall which was decorated exactly like for the Yule Ball that was at Hogwarts last year.
- I think I heard Ginny saying that she volounteered. Oh, and Angelina, too.
The Weird Brothers stopped playing, and Dumbledore announced:
-Now we will hear our student's performance. They will sing a song called "Denying".
The lights went off. Suddenly someone played the first few notes of a song, and they saw Angelina emerging from the darkness. (the bold and italic letters are the words of the song)
Angelina: Oh...Yeeeeaaah...Yeah, c'mon.
Ginny:*staring at Harry* You think you're quick, but I'd like to see you keep up with me.
Angelina:*looking at Fred*You think you're slick, but I'd like to see you pull a trick on me.
Pansy*to Draco* : You think you're so cool, Hey big man you're old school.
Ron*waving at Hermione* : You think you're smart, but who the hell you think you're talking too
Ginny, Angelina and Pansy *standing in a row, starting to dance* : Everyone can see who you are, take a look at yourself, tell me *Ron starts to breakdance* why keep on...
The girls +Ron: Denying
Girls*still dancing*: Everything you say...
Ron*still breakdanceing*: Denying...
Girls*dancing*: Everything you do so be a fool to yourself forever mooooore...
Ron *still...(A/N:I think you got it. They're ALL still dancing)*: Trying...
Girls: Any kind of move...
Ron: Tell me...
Girls: So what's it gonna prove...
Ron: You ain't...
Girls: Fooling nobody...
Ron: You ain't...
Girls: Fooling nobody...
All: But yourself!!!
Hermione, Harry, Fred , Draco and Hermione come on stage, take Ginny's, Angelina's, Pansy's and Ron's microfone's and start singing:
Hermione*lookes tenderly into Ron's eyes* :I know you're sweet, but I know you don't wanna be seen that way...
Harry: *lookes at Cho*: Admit defeat,*come's to Ginny and hugs her* win or loose, who cares it's just a game you play.
Fred *takes Angelina's hand* I know you need me if you stay that way it's never gonna be...
Draco *smirking at Pansy* : You've got your style, but I know what you really want from me...
Hermione and Ron, plus Fred and Angelina starts kissing, and don't notice anything else from that moment.
Draco & Harry *Draco looking at Pansy* *Harry looking at Cho*: Everyone can see who you are take a look at yourself tell me why keep on
*Milicent jumps on stage*
Ginny & Milicent: Denying.... Everything you say...
Draco & Harry: Denying...
Ginny & Milicent : Everything you do so be a fool to yourself forever mooooore...
*Ginny goes to kiss Harry* *Milicent hugs Draco*
Draco & Harry : *huging their girls and staring at Cho and Pansy* Trying...
Ginny & Milicent : Any kind of move...
Draco & Harry : Tell me...
Ginny & Milicent :So what's it gonna prove...
Draco & Harry : You ain't...
Ginny & Milicent: Fooooling nobody...
Draco & Harry : You ain't...
Ginny & Milicent : Fooling nobody...
All: But yourself!!!
Guys start kissing the girls. Cho jumps on the stage, so does Pansy, and they try to pull Ginny and Milicent away from Draco & Harry. Dumbledore and Professor McGonnagal come on the stage. Dumbledore's waring torn jeans and a black shirt without sleeves. McGonagall wears bell-bottom jeans and a black n' white bra.
Ginny: ha, ha check yourself......
McGonagall:*dancing* Check yourself, but don't forget yourself, 'cos you're denying...
Dumbledore: Ha ha ha ha check yourself. Ha , but don't forget yourself...
*Cho beats Ginny, Ginny tears all Cho's hair from her head. They start to kick an' bite, you know, they're fighting*
McGonagall: Check yourself, but don't forget yourself, 'cause you're denying...
Cho: *Screams*
Dumbledore: *waving his arms aroud trying to imitate a raper* : I'll give you everything you are and even everything you need That's life,come on ha ha check yourself...
*Milicent, Pansy, Ginny and Cho start fighting, Harry and Draco just watch, 'cause while the girls are fighting, they can see their underwear*
The whole school: Everyone can see who you are, take a look at yourself, tell me why keep on denying.
Harry n' Draco :Everything you say...
School: Denying...
Harry & Draco: Everything you do so be a...*Lavendar takes Draco's microphone and sings to Pansy*...fool to yourself forever mooooore
*Pansy takes Milicent's microphone*: Trying...
*Pansy and Milicent fight over the micro*
Ginny*taking Draco's microphone* : Any kind of move...
Cho*takes it from Ginny* : Tell me
Ginny *jerks the microphone from Cho* : So what's it gonna prove
*Cho pushes Ginny and takes the microphone* You ain't fooling nobody...
School: You ain't fooling nobody...
*Ginny takes the microphone and knocks Cho out with it* *screaming* Denying!!!
Ginny: Everything you say...
McGonagall: Everything you say!!!
School: Denying
Ginny: Everything you do
McGonagall: Everything you dooooo...
Ginny: So be a fool to yourself forever moooore *kicks Cho and goes to kiss Harry*
McGonagall: Moooooooooooooore!!!!
School: Trying...
Ginny: Any kind of move...
McGonagalll *dancing the hippie dance* Any kind of move
Ginnie and Harry *to Cho* So what's it gonna prove...
McGonagall *changes her mind and does the shippie dance* So what's it gonna prooooove!!!!
Draco *hugging Milicent and smirking at Pansy* and Harry *dancing with Ginny and 'accidently' stepping on Cho* :You ain't fooling nobody, you ain't fooling nobody but yourself!!!
McGonagall *switches from the shippie dance to the macarena* :Wow!!!
*The curtains drop covering four dancing pairs ( Fred+Angelina, Hermione+Ron, Harry+Ginny, and draco+Milicent ), Prof. McGonagall beeing confused and dancing the hippie dance and the macarena at the same time, Cho and Pancy laying on the floor and Dumbledore waving his arms in a hopeless attempt to look like a real rapper*
