Sitting down in front of Mel Fisher's Maritime Heritage Museum across from some old cannons, I noticed a group of chickens hop across an adjacent street, hop up on the curb, and walk past me. Chickens run freely on the island just as the cats do, but this incident only raised questions in my mind. WHY DID THE CHICKENS CROSS THE ROAD? Seriously, they just started walking around, then started scratching dirt in the shade.
