Alanis Morissette - So Pure (Hybrid's Impurity Mix)
One of Hybrid's great works. This is one of Hybrid's rarest tracks. I snagged it off napster to find that it was taken from The Ministry Of Sound show I had originally heard it from. Thankfully, some do-gooder managed to remove the ubiquitous voice-overs from the radio station. That's a very good thing, because the song is intense. It's scary how well Alanis Morissette works for dance music. I found myself loving even her lyrics. It was one of the highlights from my new year's mix(truth be told, it's not the mix but the music; I fucked up the mix into this song mighty good). It builds from an odd breakscape, into a dazzlingly tense and powerful four on the floor finale. An instrumental version of it is out on the import of Hybrid's new mix cd. I'm sure I'll be downloading that one, and I'll probably be buying the album, too.
