This has to be one of the best and most well known racing games of all time! It was the very start of what lead to racing games being as good as they are today! A true classic in the making! It contained a feature that is taken out of most modern games today, (for one reason or another) where when you are playing a 2 player game, that you compeat against all the other computer racers as well at the same time, just like you do in the single player mode! I find it unfortunate that most modern games nowadays tend to prefer the basic 2 player head to head mode instead! I feel that it would be great if they could bring back the feature, even if it were only to be used as an option, as that would be better than nothing and not even having it! tho many gamers these days have different oppinions on this subject! In other areas of the game, the graphics are quite good for what they had in comparison to this back then and the music soundtrack is one of the best I have ever heard on a computer game! very good indeed!!! :)

The game also has various different scenery and obstacles that you will find in your path at times, such as water and logs in the road etc, that need good handling and control skills to overcome and get past sufficiently without causing too much of a hold up which may prove vital to handle as best you can if you want to finish the race in good time! also (like in real life) the car has a fuel tank that needs to be filled up on some courses depending on how long they are or else you may not be able to finish the race successfully if you happen to run out of fuel have way thru the race and no where near a stop pit. Another feature that this game introduced was going up and down hills on a road which played just as well as racing along a straight when doing so! this made the game lead to better course variety! PS: Yo Par! they say that if u re-write text after losing it (not being able to save) that you can never write it again as good as the first time! well the first paragraph is ok I guess but this 2nd one above needs a bit of sorting out! doh! oh well life goes on... and sorry for getting stressed at u earlier mate!
