Unfinished Projects (Yeah, that is SO unlike me!)

These first few are the ones I consider done and they are all my own designs. The black tribal goat's head I actually had done on my lower back a few years ago. That made me SO unbelievably happy. The butterfly on the neck I don't have the original drawing for. I actually drew it on a napkin for my friend Ann who eventually got it done. The one I drew was black only, the tattoo artist added the coloring. Also, I am aware that I already have the gargoyle in my pencil section. However, the idea was borne of a request from a friend at the time who was as much in love with tattoos (custom especially) as I am. Apparently, she had been searching for quite some time for a gargoyle sitting atop two Greek columns. The gargoyle just because she liked them and the columns to signify her Gemini zodiac status. I went home that very night and performed a grueling search for gargoyles and columns online, just to get shape and shading ideas. After printing a cover sheet of the ones that posed the most possibilities, I toiled without stopping for the rest of the night until the job was finished. I was very proud of the results since I figured it was EXACTLY what she was looking for. I went into work proudly, though tired, the next day, gargoyle in hand to give to Karen.

Unfortunately, she never came back to work and I never saw her again. Ain't life a bitch?

There'll be plenty more to come as I find the time, so check back often. I'm mad, though, because I had done this really kickass alien pissing on the planet that I adore, but--ALAS--he's stuck in storage in San Diego. Also, I'll point out again that I am available for commissioned work. Several of the ones above were actualy custom pieces for friends. If you have an idea of what type of tattoo you would like to see on your body, e-mail me exactly what you want and I will do my best to put it to paper so you can get it done at your convenience.

These next few are not my own designs, but I did draw them whilst looking at someone else's art, symbols, sobe bottles--whatever. The sacred heart is from Sublime's Second Hand Smoke album and it was my first tattoo, located on my left shoulder.

Now these next few are again my designs, or ideas for designs, but they need a LOT of work so use you imaginations. The tombstone is merely a commemomorative piece devoted to the exact moment in time my heart was irrevocably broken. The headstone was for that love I will never have, and the exact moment we stopped speaking. And yes, I am that sick that I actually remember the exact time and date of said occurance. (The exact time was 7:35p.m., for those of you curious.) Sorry, I have the memory of an elephant. The burning cross I have as unfinished just because I really hate the color scheme.

Followed by unfinished versions of designs that were NOT my own. If your wondering, I put my interpretations of other people's art here just to give you an idea of how I'm willing to try anything and with practice I do get better at duplicating someone else's style.
