It seems Sabrina was going into kidney failure after becoming so dehydrated the vet couldn't even take her temp. Three days and five hundred dollars later, she's supposedly one hundred percent better, medically, and has been released home. They sent her with some antibiotics and told me to keep an eye on her all weekend. Well for a cat who's supposedly a hundred percent better, she's still not moving and she's still not eating.
I don't know what to do. California has been postponed until august because of this already and I may have to take her back to the vet again next week if she doesn't improve. This is probably the one thing i would postpone Cali for.
All she's been doing since she got home is crying and it is obvious that she is in great pain.
It's been hell trying to sleep the night through without her all week and I really don't want to be spending all this money and then find out that, ultimitely, I'm still going to have to put her to sleep.
Why this cat of all of them?
Some prayers would be useful right now. I don't necessarily believe in prayer in the spiritual sense, but I do believe in mind over matter, and the more minds involved the more likely their thoughts may help the situation. (That's the little Pagan in me peeking out from his forgotten existance.)
I'll keep you posted on what's happening with my little angel in the meantime. At this point there's nothing left to do but hope.
And another one bites the dust. . . last update on my angel
