That there was a portrait I did of an old friend of mine. It was recreated from a very horrible Poloroid. Guess we can't all look as good as me on a Poloroid! (Kidding! Get over it.)
Anyway, for some odd reason, normally when I do portraits, the people always come out almost, but not quite, like the pictures I was looking at. This one, however, came out exactly like the original. I warn you though, it may looked warped on this site around the eyebrows because I had to scan it in two different parts because the original was too big to fit in the scanner at once.
Moving on, here's my split personality featuring--no way--ANOTHER demon. . . .

And a few more random ones. None of these are avilable in larger scale because it's a pain in the ass to scan them in parts as I did above and because of my crappy cam issue. The one on the right was a horrible attempt at Sandra Bullock. It was my second attempt ever with pastels. The one in the middle was my first. It and the demon above were both done on the bottom of Avon boxes. (Hey, times were tough and supplies are expensive--what are you gonna do?) And the last one was me trying something out with white pastel on black paper.

I will admit that one of the things I love the most about working with pastels is using my fingers rather than a tool. It's messy but great!
