Okay, anyone that knows me knows I am definitely a connoisseur of the film persuasion. I love movies. I love the creative minds at work behind movies. I love the lively creatures that appear in movies. I love movies of all kinds, especially the ones that make you think. I've dwindled down the hundreds of movies currently in my possession to a narrow (or not so narrow) few that are deemed favorites. Enjoy!
What Dreams May Come
Anything by Kevin Smith, i.e. Clerks, Mallrats, etc.
10 Things I Hate About You/Boys and Girls
Best Laid Plans
Of course, these are not all of my favorites. I can find something good in almost every movie I watch--except anything by Spike Lee--the only man who can take a good story and utterly destroy every last aspect of it. But these are just the ones that first sprang to mind.
The Matrix
Nowhere/The Doom Generation
The Fight Club
Dolores Claiborne
Twin Peaks/Lost Highway
Friday
Clue
Empire Records
The Craft
Trick/Get Real
Any Nightmare on Elm Street (except 2 because it sucked!)
The Opposite of Sex
Final Destination
