GOD DAMN! I so updated the Moment of Zen yesterday but it wasn't saved. Okay... Basically I ranted about Madonna's new CD. For you see there is only so much a diehard like me can take for her. She's getting a bit big for her Gucci "Not Gucci" pantalone. Madonna please stay away from rap and funny voices and stick to those Beckish sporatic acoustic rifts.. I like those.
Well, due to sickness and schedule catches I won't be at swing for another week. This sucks. The flu got me in a major way... I haven't been truely sick for a while and well it got me... in a.. major way? I've missed the past 3 days of school. Probably will go tommorrow.. the only thing that made me want to get well was swing tonight and since that's a miss... *shrugs* My mom is getting antsy and snappy after taking care for me for the past 3 days and my dido just asked if I was looking at pornography so I'll go now.

Today is prom. I got all pampered and I feel all nice and sparkley. My hair all done up and my makeup toooooo. I've never had my hair up before, let a lone had someone else do my makeup. The dress was cheap, though it doesn't beat freshman year's $20 find so i got to splurge. I look all 50s-ish.... mmm... It's a shame I'm not going to swing cuz I would fit right in. I'd be a blast to period dance in period clothes. I'll wear the dress next Sat to swing. Can't wait... mmm... all pretty. I'm not a girly girly ummm... girl but it's nice to get done up once in a while. If you look back in the Zen Archives to May 2001 I do believe I think I said the same thing about my freshman year. Only minus the 50s thing... and stuff... I can't think. And boy do I look different.

FELIZ CINCO DE MAYO MUCHACHOS!!! yipppeeee... I have been on the run of late and let me give you the 4-11. IN THE NOT SO SHORT I went to prom and that was nice. I was all Jackie-Oish-hell-Mrs.-Cleaver looking. Goodness. Then on Sunday I went to this big outdoor arts fest called Sunfest. I saw Six Pence None the Richer play. Stood by myself in the front row and swayed with my eyes shut; got some quiet time (if that makes sence.) Then later that night Big Bad Voodoo Daddies played. And i had a nice surprise cuz several people from my swing studio showed up and we had a blast dancing. Today was egh. And now I'm tired and want to sleep... but my mom won't let me... so I'm eating Life Saver Gummies TM and will eventually do my chores. Comfort food... for the soul that just wants to pass out.

Today I took my first AP test (English.) *shrugs* It wasn't too bad. I hope I atleast scored well on it seeing that I'm sure to fail Friday's American History one. I also went to see Confidence. It was good... I snuck in... I'm. suck. a. rebel. I had bought a ticket to see the orgasmic X2 but decided to see Confidence instead seeing that I'm gonna go see X2 tonight... again... I still got to see the end of it cause Confidence was shorter.. yeah.. ummm... I'm really not in writing right now, I'm in a horrible mood... so.. yeah... *chokes due to punctuation overdose* ... RIP ... I hope... okay I'm gonna shut up now...
5/7/03 I just woke up and guzzled some treats.... I was hungry and... yeah.. *devours* Nothing to add... just pigness... I tired.

Hmm... well so far this weekend has been innnteresting. Makes me even more excited for tonight's swing dig. As for news my AP tests are finished with and Ben is now my partner for swing. Both good things. *has goose bubbles in her soul* I'm just so exctied to go out there and fly on the dancefloor tonight!

Sorry for the absence of late but I've been.. well.. lazy. Also a dash of busy though! I've just been sooo exhausted... During the lull my Dido turned 86 on Saturday and I swing danced basically. I made a swing video for drama class which I think turned out pretty good. Plus last week I performed a improv skit with some friends and Mr. Madden said it had "moments of brilliance." I think he's stupid. Oh yeah... and I saw The Matrix: Reloaded.... I think it's stupid too.

I sprained my ankle really bad on Saturday night... but other than that I had an absolute blast... It's a pretty good day when you can severely injure yourself and the mood isn't marred. I just hope the injury doesn't keep me from dancing later on this week... But that's not the point! THE POINT: I love swing dancing... and love the feeling of peace that comes with it and those I share it with. *hugs the "swing krew"* You guys keep me sane.

All is well in the world! Or atleast myopically. My belly is full of chinese food and school is over! My grades are all completed and wrapped up in a neat lil' ('lil?) bow. Nothing but the present. YUK YUK Phew... *lets out all breath* It shall be nice to relax and reload. Ind33d3dly!

I love Tori Amos. No really, I do. But what the hell is she saying? She's always more garbled than.. well a really garbled thing. Craziness... but enjoyable. I'm sure the words are really profound. *shrugs*
