    I went shopping today and well.. ENJOYED IT! Now, I don't know if that's a good thing or not but it is certainly a feat. Usually I walk into a store and then 5 minutes later must support my spine with a nearby clothing rack. But today I went in didn't spend a lot of money... circled my victims... went in for the kill... and all with a smile! What a difference it makes when you know you can escape at any moment via your own car. And now I have a nice bamboo plant for my feng shui room. The career sector is looking really nice right now I must say.

    That sweet tenderness that silences their footsteps... I need to write poetry.... Bad or not.

    HAPPY 4th! Andddd allll that jazz. I'm wearing my traditional 4th of july outfit as I have since 1st grade. Damn I love comfortable old things. Though sometimes I can do without my baba... *rimshot* But seriously people! Be free! and well independent.. or something.... *chuckles and skips off*

    Today I returned to an old haunt... and VOLUNTEERED! Da Da DAAA! Shocking, aye? It was really nice. Same ole same ole really. I volunteer at the Florida Oceanographic Society. I have on and off since 1996. It's a nice place to relax and get some NATURAL LIGHT. Shocking, aye? Anyway, I also saw a little raccoon today. It was stranded on the trail.. I hope it will be okay. It was the size of a grapefruit and I named it Groovus (like all cool things.) Just plain shocking.

I think one should get an award for a perfect pumping of gas. I think the customer should call out their aim. Desimals appreciated. And if they reach it with the least number of squeeziness they should get... get... something good! I have filled up Ruby Mae two times. And both I have reached my mark exactly. AND for this.. I deMAND retribution. OR HOWEVER ITS SPELLED! *fist in palm* You people will say, "But Sheila you were confused and didn't even know how to use the pump and the lady behind the desk had to intercome you to tell you how!" Well, I reply with a: There are special Olympics too... aren't there?"

    So I've been both busy and lazy. Well, not "searching for jobs" wise. There I have been busy. But lazy with the site more like it. Sorry sorry, etc. But yes... applying for jobs sucks... I need, I want, I can't have... yet. So I'll continue on my journey for the dependable bling. Also I've been stressed due to the Baba living with me. It's been 4 weeks and finally my Dido is safe and home and can take her back to their condo. I really hope that I do not turn into that woman... as cold as that sounds... it's true. I also hope I don't turn into my mother.. she's a good person... but.. yes... please let history not repeat itself. Actually most of all, I hope my mom doesn't turn even more so into Baba... Then I'd have two. And my head would blow up. But anyway now with Baba leaving I start to paint my room, tommorrrow. It'll be a nice project to fill in the time between job interviews... But other than all that hullabaloo I'm happy and I'm lucky and here I go!

    So my baba has left the premises and I am left to clean the dishes. My lazy bones aches for her.

    Lots have happened. All really starting with a hair cut on the spare of the moment. Since:

• Compliments... *happy with the doo*
• Started new acting classes that I might have to curtail due to swing classes being moved to that night. Which is sad.. cuz its a cool class and I could learn a lot. But I suppose its better if I could do without the expense.
• Offered part in Marilyn Monroe's Bust Stop as Marilyn Monroe's character, Cherie. Yes... happiness... finally some chance for stage time. This doesn't start til the fall though.
• Started Belly Dancing classes. Fun. Hard.
• JOB JOB JOB at marine insurance. Dream Job for my busy little butt infact. I will be doing filing at a good rate... anytime I really want. Very lax... very cool...
• Watching Swing Chris' dog while he's out of town. Nothing big just something I'm doing.
• Went to a lil local concert with Jared and Krew.
• Volunteering a whole bunch with Tiff-Butt. I'm starting to design a project for school groups to help out. All nice and doesn't involve contact with the public. So I'm cool with it. I'm really not one with tour guiding though I'll do it.
• I need a shower.

    7/29/03

    Well, today was my second day of work and it feels like I've been doing it forever. In a neutral kind of way. The environment is really relaxed (I usually have no shoes on) and the people, friendly. This whole filing thing has become a sinch and I feel tons more confident. I might be working myself out of a job though. The quicker I work = less hours. So I might have to look for a 2nd job. Insurance filer by day! Hostess by night! Loving my Rootie ALllLll the time! *laughes* Sorry, my lil puppy just curled up beside me... I love him sooo much. Anyway yes.. filing is no problem and today felt a lot quicker then yesterday. So things improve... all in good time.
