Have you ever noticed, in watching the WWF that
the lower you go on the popularity scale the
better the wrestling ability?
For instance take a look at Essa Rios or Jerry
Lynn to incredible ring workers whose talents are
going to waste on heat and on house shows. While
mainliners like the Rock and HHH who demonstrate
almost no wrestling talent at all are getting
prime air time and pulling in the big bucks.
The Rock has approximately 6 moves in his
repetoir if you watch each match all of these
moves will be implemented with very little
deviation from the program, this is true of most
mainliners SCSA HHH Undertaker Kane all basically
have 6-8 moves they use in repitition,
A little lower on the roster and you have
midcarders like Jericho and Benoit Edge and
Christian and the Hardys, If you watch these
wrestlers exhibit more ability but STILL follow
the same pattern there is just more deviation, as
well midcarders can mix things up, except for
Jericho who if you followed his career used to be
an incredible showman as well as mike worker but
nowadays you can look forward to a flying
forearm+bulldog+a lionsault and/or a very poorly
done liontamer. Sad really that WWF would waste
such fantastic talent.
Im happy to see RVD and Tajiri as I remember
seeing many memorable matches when they graced
the apron of ECW now even today RVD and Tajiri
put on an awesome show. I just hope that WWF
doesnt ruin them by giving them a pattern.... I
mean sure you have to see there Finishers and
specials right ...but come on they dont have to
follow in sequence all the time
Kurt Angel could quite possibly be the best
wrestler in the WWF, He has good mic skills and a
simply awsome array of submissions, and suplexes
as well each of his matches follows an erratic
pattern so he is a joy to watch.
Undertaker gets props for the most improved
wrestler, he has developed better mic skills and
has regained the energy i was used to seeing in
the old Taker, his matches are fast paced and
active, qualities sorely lacking in alot of
matches. I do however, wish he would go back to
being the Undertaker of old :D
Ok now on to X-Pac, I have to admit the last
couple of weeks his matches havent sucked. His
popularity was waning for awhile, but if he
continues with the energy and finesse were used
to seeing in X-pac im sure it will return, lets
face it he made an awsome face in DX and it would
be nice to see him make it on his own.
Big Show, anyone else think they should give the
big man some more powermoves im tired of seeing
him headbutt and Meaty slap people, I want to see
him throw, toss, hurl, slam and crush his opponents
with suplexes,powerbombs,slams,ddts,and giant
clotheslines. I want him to be the powerful 450lb
beast he looks like instead of everyones kicking
post.
Last thing, Is anyone in agreement they should
drop the womens devision altogether? Dont get me
wrong im not biased but if you watch they all
look good, but few can wrestle. That crackwhore
looking lita can pull off a mean flying
headscissors takedown, and a sloppy Twist of fate
neck breaker but honestly other then that what
else can she do? Suck? that right and bad to.
Molly Holly and Jacqueline? please is that what
passes for talent nowadays? seriously they look
like they have potential but they need serious
training, you think you would see some
improvement over the months, but every PPV we are
treated to the same suck fest, If they are going
to make a bra and panties match, they should
atleast wrestle for it, instead of making a farce
out of what real athletes try so hard to do, and
that is put on a good show.
