The Main BEach Tour will hopefully be a series of (organized) events deciding main beach's ultimate amateur champion(not including chris harmon or shane stedman or anyone over the age of 16( but Chris matzen is eliminated regardless.)The tour will visit pipe for the shootout, georgica jetty for the point surf challenge, and wherever its good for the reamaining events.(The "Jay would Go" big wave event, Hlawka challenge 1&2, sponge open, longboard, and "king of the kooks.) THE LONG BOARD TRIALS 1&2 were a complate failure due to poor wave conditions and/or lack of organization, every time it gets good, its postponed for actually surfing.We should have had the classic on August 7, but do to our usual laziness, it didnt happen. Awesome longboard waves though.
An attempt at the Georgica point surf classic was held at the site on August 11, but we abasndoned the scoring to free surf yet again. This goes to show how th etour will not be complete till december, when it will be too cold for us to stay in for more than 10 minutes without fulll rubber. Awesome waves though.Footage on the way
