Every now and then,
God, how do I miss you,
And what we used to have.
Yet slowly we drifted apart.
A shadow in my past.
A scar upon my heart.
And now,
I know you not.

You burned deep within my soul
All the memories of who you used to be.
But you are a stranger in the shadows,
A dark figure,
A dream.
Lurking in my madness.
And still,
I know you not.
