This is your Fashion Forward site to give you the greatest and the latest. This week's edition is all about the purpose of makeup...ever wondered what the purpose of it is? Sure it's to cover up your blemishes and to make you feel prettier, but consider this : Make up is supposed to be used to enhance your features...which basically means to make the things you like about yourself prettier and better yet still natural. Most girls make the mistake of piling on make up...but that's only because most of them hate or dislike some things about them and try to cover it up, but thats not the key...take the things that are good about you and play them up, it will distract attention from the not-so-good things. Not sure what you like about yourself? Take a look in the mirror and write it down. Is it your eyes? If so, a little eye liner and a pretty color shadow can show how beautiful those blinker are...or maybe it's your smile? Take very good care and floss your teeth every night. Your blemish-free face? Then continue washing your face every night to prevent acne...whatever makes you beautiful and confident will make others think and feel like you are beautiful and confident, too! If you're still not sure what you think your best feature(s) are/is then ask your mom, sibling or a friend, or just remember compliments you got earler because of something, but whatever unique qualities you have, they still make you you and you are beautiful and special in a different way. Maybe you think your friends curly locks are to die for, but maybe they just look good on her and if you try it, it might not look the same on you. Think about how you want to be, not the fashionistas and divas, but how you uniquely and wonderfully are. You are you and have your own qualities keep that tip in mind before getting a haircut or trying out new clothes or make up, it's definitely okay to admire someone because of their look, but people will admire you more if you make a certain look your own.
