2. Describe the bike you want:
I need to know exactly what the bike is going to be used for before I begin to build it
so just describe the kind of riding you like to do.
Here are some examples:
"I mostly plan to commute to my work and back on the bike, I want something easy to
ride and dependable, I don't want anything too flashy though, because my
last bike was stripped while I was at work."
"I'm crazy about mountain biking, but my last bike was too heavy for uphill travel.
I want something light enough to ride on inclines, but tough enough to
bomb down hills and drop-offs"
Give me a general idea of the amount of money you would like to spend on your bike.
4. what size bike do you ride:
Measure the length of your inseam, (the distance between your crotch and your foot) then take 2/3 of that distance and that is the frame size you need.
