History of Noxious

Oh boy..... Where do we start? Noxious was first formed back in 1997 by the Clay S. and Crabs Magee. Clay origanlly began as the bassist and song writer, while Crabs pecked around on the guitar. Soon Luke Da La Pera was recruited for lead guitar and lead vocals, and Ryan Bruce joined as the drummer. They all played a couple of shows together, but after musical differances Luke and Ryan left the band.
Soon after,Chris Shit took over lead vocals for a short period of time, but due to Clay's alcoholism the band was put on hold till a better time.
About 4 months later The band was reformed as the line up went Clay S.-vocals, Joey Randel(r.i.p.)-on bass, Crabs-on guitar, and Brandon H.-drums.The unfortunate suicide of Joey, and Crab's addiction to crystal meth, the band tore apart, and Noxious was put on hold once again.
Clay, still battling a bad alcohol addiction, put together the band again for a short time with a few more players. Yet again, the band was put on hold because of lake of interest in the other members.
In 2001 Noxious decided it would rear its ugly head again.Clay and Crabs joined forces with Keith C. on bass, and Todd E. Walk on drums. Noxious played many shows and made a big name for themseleves. Playing any and every show they could, and none stop promotion of the band, they were heading for a huge uprising. But yet again, personal problems arose between the two original members Clay and Crabs. Crabs was soon kicked out of the band and Noxious was on hold again.
Now in 2002 Noxious is back and with the best lineup and more musical talent than it has ever had before. Ben A. Victim(formaly of Nuclear Youth)has now joined the band to bring a much needed kick in the energy ass for the band. Todd Walk still playing drums,Kieth C. playing bass, and the only original founding member Clay S. doing the vocals thing. The boys are now planning a small tour of the southeast, doing a spit album with brother band The Diseasa, putting out a bootleg of some live shit, and maybe...just maybe,A FULL LENGTH ALBUM!!!!!
These guys may have seen some hard times, but they just keep on doing what they have to do.Always going by the motto,"Punx till we die!"
