RUBBER CEMENT PROMOTIONAL BIO

Rubber Cement was formed in the spring of 2002 by four young musicians with previous experience in other bands. They wanted a band that was fun to be in and fun to watch, and Rubber Cement has proven to be just that. The music is punk presented with energy and excitement. The lyrics are irreverent and often humorous.

Since their first show on June 30, 2002, Rubber Cement has played in the Cleveland area almost every weekend appearing with such bands as the Sloppy Meateaters, The Berlin Project, Rude Staff Checkers, Dinkus 9, Distorted Penguins, Blueprint 76, Swingset Hands, Trendy, Spenser, Punchline, How About No, The Interns, The Fold and many others. They work as hard at promotions as they do at their music and have been producing their own shows.

If you would like the short version of our bio it goes like this: Ken Bryan and Zack started playing in a band. They set a lawn on fire. Called themselves Rubber Cement. Got Nick to play bass. Wrote some songs here and there, played some shows, did a lot of drugs and got Lee to play bass instead because Nick didn't want to anymore. Then after we played in Pittsburgh and Columbus a few times Zack didn't wanna play punk anymore. Then we got Mike. Now we are playing what we think is good old punk rock n roll.

Band members include:

Ken Tucky-lead vocals
B.R.-drummer
Mike Misko-guitar and vocals
The Reverend-bass guitar and vocals

Major influences include Guttermouth, NOFX, and Pennywise.
