Cairo was bustling heavily, the pounding of feet that we're rushing here and there and the trade's men shouting in vain over the top trying to sell their goods. A young woman stepped off the train and into the sea of people, her large hat making her unmistakable to her husband who also stepped off the train, he gently grabbed her arm, ' Careful, don't want you to get lost in the bustle.' He said reassuringly,
She smiled at him, ' Oh please Rick...I have gotten off a train in Cairo station thousands of times, I couldn't possibly get lost, it's my second home.' Her thick British accent made him smile, Rose was so adventurous but seemed like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.
Jack stumbled off the train and pushed Rick slightly in the ribs, Rose turned when she heard Jack's struggling grunts, ' Oh do be careful with those bags Jack I have fragile equipment in those.'
Jack just made a face and struggled on, he was only 19 and shoved into helping Rose, a great archaeologist in the making. His brown Stetson hat fell off as he stumbled off onto the platform revealing a mop of rich brown hair, he didn't want to help Rose and her American husband, he'd prefer to be back in New York enjoying his young life, but it saved him fighting in the war, he couldn't see himself as a soldier shooting Germans on the front line, he sighed and picked up the bags and his hat, Rick gave him a hand.
The group weaved through the crowds and eventually got outside the station into another bustle, Cairo itself. Rose stopped in the street and looked around, ' Isn't it beautiful?', she sighed, 'I have loved this place the first time I came here, I just knew I belonged here, and here I am again.'
' I guess you just can't keep away.' Rick said, putting his arm around her shoulder.
Jack continued to struggle with the heavy bags, ' What is it with you English?..do you have to pack your house to travel?' He said puffing and panting.
Rose turned and rolled her eyes at him, ' Oh do stop complaining, you we're hired to help us...or would you rather put on a uniform and get pushed into the front line hmmm?'
Jack stopped and looked at her... ' Ill just shut up now.', he said.
' Right...this way.' Rose led the way deep into the centre of town. After much searching they found a man selling camels, they looked in good shape, healthy, and Rose thought she had better get some or she'd have Jack grumbling in her ear for another hour. Rose approached the Egyptian man, he was dressed in traditional Arabic clothes and had a white turban on his head, he seemed quite tubby and had a few teeth missing, and he smelled quite a bit.'Ermm...excuse me...hello.'
The man turned to her, ' Ahh hello.', she said,
' Erm, we need some camels for our travels, and we were wondering how much you are offering for these three.'
' Ahh...welcome Madame, welcome to Cairo, I am Haveeb, and at your service.'
He leered at Rose, after all she was a very attractive young woman, Rick eyed him up and down and squinted at him, he didn't trust him one bit.
'I offer you cheap camels as your stunning beauty has made my morning.'
' Why thank you.' Rose replied, slightly uneasy, 'Is Fifty pounds enough?'
' Err...I say one hundred.'
' Very well one hundred pounds.'
' Actually, make that one hundred and fifty.'
' A hundred and fifty, thats absurd!'
' These are good camels...healthy...robust-'
' Yes but a hundred and fifty is a bit steep.'
' Miss... I have to make a living...but..i am also lonely...perhaps if you offer me your services I may-'
' HEY BUDDY!' Rick interrupted, ' That's my wife your talking to, just remember that!, okay?!'
Haveeb looked stunned ' My apologies sir...I am at your service...please...you can have these camels for fifty pounds just because I like you so much.' He smiled with a toothless grin but it soon got wiped away when Rick just continued to stare at him in a way that would make the dead feel uncomfortable.
' You don't want the camels?'Haveeb said, avoiding Rick's eyes.
' Yes...yes we will have them', Rose said while she blocked her husbands view of the stumpy seller and handed over the money.
Jack sniffed the air and turned to Rick, ' I think one of his camels is rotting from the inside.'
' No,', he replied, still staring, ' He's just a smelly camel seller.'
Rick and Jack packed the luggage onto the camels and headed off towards the sands, Haveeb waved them goodbye, Rick just sat with a disgruntled look on his face, ' I don't like that guy.'
' Me neither', replied Jack, 'He looks like a camel kicked him in the face, and he smells like a camel spat on him.'
Rick chuckled as the group headed off into the desert.

The group had been travelling throughout the day, and we're exhausted, they knew it wouldn't be long before the desert heat got to them; their skin was on fire and they felt drained. They agreed to stop and make camp before it got to dark, Rick put up a simple tent for Rose and himself, it would keep them warm through the cold night ahead, Jack had to make do with a blanket either to lie on or put over him, he made discerning faces at Rose...while she wasn't looking of course, Jack was wiser than that, he knew Rose could easily win an argument, he decided to save himself the embarrassment.
Rick made a small fire, it wasn't an inferno but it kept them warm, and it was cosy. Rose looked over to Jack who was quite fidgety; he was turning around and looking at the silent sand dunes, ' You okay Jack? Your awfully jumpy.'
' You know...you here these stories of Nomads...desert people...they creep into your camp, steal your belongings, rape your women and murder your children.'
' Really?... and put a uniform on you and push you into the front line of the U.S army?'
' Will you shut up about that?!..I hate the army.'
' How would you know you've never been in the army.' Rick commented, Rose giggled but soon stopped when she saw how annoyed Jack looked.
' I know enough.' He replied ' I'm just glad I'm not fighting.'
' Thanks to me.' Rose commented.
' Yeah, yeah, so you keep reminding me...anyway...why are we here? What are you looking for?'
Rose's face lit up, ' I'm looking for a sacred tomb where it is said Seth, the God of Destruction and War was entombed by Horus.'
Jack cocked an eyebrow at Rose, ' God of Destruction...are you sure we should be meddling with this?'
' It's just a story Jack.'
' Well if it's a story why are we looking for it?'
' It is said that inside is untold riches that were entombed with him, and he guards over them.'
' So this creepy war God guy is keeping watch over a treasure which we are looking for?'
' That's the myth...'
' But...what if this god IS looking over it?...what if it's not a myth?'
' Oh Nonsense!' Rose said sternly ' I refuse to believe in a silly story that was put there to scare people off.'
Jack raised his eyebrows at Rick, ' Don't mess with the lady Jack, you'll only lose.' Rick said with a smile on his face, Rose smiled, softly kissed her husband on the lips and yawned,
' Well...I'm going to sleep now, goodnight Jack.' Rose got up and Rick followed her, they slept under their small tent without making a sound.
Jack refused to fall asleep, he had never slept out in the open before, and the desert isn't exactly the best place to experience it for the first time. Every slight noise made him jump, soon enough silence made him jump,
' Get a hold of yourself Jack.' He murmured to himself. Jack was always prepared for the worst, he kept a dagger close to his body at all times, discreetly tucked away in his belt and his hand was ready to grasp the handle, he sat and kept the fire going all night and stared into the weak flames.

In the small hours of the morning, Jack's dreary eyes spotted something in the dim light, he was sure he saw something moving over the dunes towards the camp, ' You need sleep.' He thought to himself, but he soon realised he did see something...and could now hear it, it sounded like horses...moving fast...real fast, Jack stood to try and take a better look, but the waves of the dunes blocked his view. ' Rick...' he whispered, ' Rick!' he whispered a bit more loudly but he didn't stir, not even Rose.
As Jack headed towards the sleeping pair he was taken by surprise, he was knocked over by a punch or a kick to the jaw, Jack fell to the ground. Rose and Rick woke up by the sound of a horse screaming, they looked just below their feet to see a jolting black steed with a dark figure sat on the top, Rose screamed and ran out of range quickly as the figure un-mounted his horse, he unsheathed a gleaming silver scimitar sword and stood ready to strike, Rick reached for his shotgun and quickly stood and moved to avoid the mysterious being but his gun was swiftly knocked out of his hands by swipe of the sword.
Jack was on his hands and knees but was quickly knocked on his back by a kick in the chin by the other figure, he looked up to see a person dressed in black and a heavy belt around his waist, he had his face covered by cloth and only his eyes showed, he staggered to stand but the figure spin kicked him in the face and he was quickly on the ground again, he went to stand but was kicked down again, and again, whoever this person was, he was an experienced fighter, strong and quick off the mark.
Jack rolled backwards and stood with his dagger in his hand, he took a few swipes but the figure was alert and jumped backwards and swiftly kicked Jack in the ribs at the first opportunity.
Jack fell backwards into the tent and got tangled in the poles, the figure walked towards him and kicked the dagger out of his hand and caught it in mid air, Jack was astonished, he was now defenceless.
Rick punched the taller figure he was fighting a few times in the jaw, but the figure punched back and caused him to fall to the ground, Rick quickly drew out two fully loaded revolvers from his belt and pointed them directly at the figure. The figure stopped and looked at Rick and uncovered his face, he was Egyptian, had dark oily skin and deep brown eyes with black wavy hair that went to his jaw line, he looked at his comrade who had Jack still tangled in the poles and a dagger pointed to his throat ready to strike.
' Kaysha!' he shouted in a thick Arabic accent, the other figure looked at him and uncovered his face, to Jack's astonishment, HE was a SHE, and had blond shoulder length wavy hair, green eyes and two Arabic tattoos on her cheeks, Jack looked on slack jawed. Kaysha backed off from Jack and headed towards her comrade.
' You must leave this place...you are a threat to my people.' He said staring at Rick.
' I'm aint leaving, you are, right now.' Rick replied still on his back but with both guns cocked and aimed at the mysterious man.
' If you do not, we shall all die, you included.'
' Who are you to tell me what to do?'
' I am Oded, and this is Kaysha, there is more of my people over the dunes waiting for us, if you kill us, you wont stand a chance.'
' I like to be prepared.' Rick said, with a flash of confidence in his voice, guns still aimed.
Oded looked over to Jack and Rose, who was cowering behind a camel, ' We will leave you now, but you must go, leave this place.' He looked over to Kaysha and she nodded, they both mounted their jet-black steeds and galloped off into the distance.Rose ran and embraced her husband who had struggled up and put his guns away. ' Who were they?' she said.
' Nomads...people of the desert.' Rick replied still holding onto his wife and watching the mysterious pair leave over the sand.
Jack struggled up from the tangled mass of cloth and poles holding his ribs, ' Ouch...she could kick like a mule.' He said and reached for something to wipe his bloody nose with.
Rick continued to watch the nomads ride away, ' We must keep going, its not safe here in the desert, if we find rock, we can hide in the valleys.'
Rose and Jack agreed to Rick's plan, they packed the camels up and headed in the opposite direction the pair were riding. Rick had a bad feeling they hadn't seen the last of them.

Riding across the dunes, Rick couldn't stop thinking about the Nomads, why did they attack them? What were they stopping them from getting? Why were they so secretive? They had only travelled a short way when Rick halted his camel ' Stop.' he ordered. Rose and Jack stopped the camels and turned to him, ' Why?' asked Jack.
' We need to go back.'
'Have you forgotten something darling?' asked Rose.
' No...we need to follow those nomads.'
Jack looked at him astonished, ' Are you crazy?! They'll kill us, my ribs have taken enough of a beating already.'
' We have to find them.'
' No we don't, if we follow them we are doing exactly opposite of what they asked.'
Rick wiped his brow, ' There is something about them...we need to go and follow them.'
Jack turned away and shook his head, Rose looked lovingly at her husband, 'Rick...are you sure about this?'
' I'm sure.'
Rose thought for a moment...' Okay, let's go.'
Jack let out an annoyed sigh and reluctantly turned his camel around to follow the couple.
The group were lucky there was no wind; the footprints left by the nomads were still visible. They had travelled for several hours before they climbed over a rocky dune and saw beneath them a rather large camp. It had large tents that were lavishly decorated with colourful tastles, there were many horses of different colours, the two black ones they had seen the nomads on were visible too, they knew this is what they were looking for, they slowly headed down.

'Oded!...Oded!' a tall toothless man wearing a grubby white turban and cloak ran into the tent.
' What is it Mohammed? I'm busy.'
' There are three strangers with camels heading toward our camp!'
Oded looked up from the map he was looking at, ' Germans?'
' No..two men and a woman.'
Oded stood and thought for a moment, then realised it must have been the group that he and Kaysha attacked that morning. He slammed his fist on the wooden table and stormed out of the tent.
Rick lead the group towards the crowd of curious Nomad's that were collecting outside the camp. Jack felt uneasy, ' Erm...is this a good idea Rick?'
' Just stay calm.' He said reassuringly.
Oded appeared from the middle of the crowd and stood before them, Rick stopped, followed by Rose and Jack, he stared down at Oded.
' I thought I told you to leave this place American.'
' We decided to stay, and help you.'
Oded laughed, ' Help us? We don't need help from you...we are an independent people, we can fight our own wars.'
' Yeah well...it isn't just your war is it, its ours too.'
Oded looked up at Rick without expression, ' Come...you must be parched...come into our camp, we shall feed and water you.'
Rick got down from his camel and helped his wife off hers, he tightly held her hand as he followed Oded through the crowd towards a large tent, it was cool inside and great relief from the scorching sun. Jack was last to enter the tent, inside Oded, Rick, Rose and some other men stood around a large table with a large crumbling map on it.
A woman wrapped up in red and black cloths poured cool water into small wooden cups they had, and gave them antelope meat. The group gratefully ate and drank.
Oded walked around the inside of the tent, ' Why are you people here?', he asked.
' I'm an archaeologist.' Replied Rose, ' And I'm looking for a tomb.'
' What tomb?' he said leaning over the desk towards her, Rose jolted backward a little.
' A tomb with treasures in it...I have been sent here by a museum.'
Oded looked at Rose for a while then straightened himself. ' My people have been protecting a tomb for thousands of years...a sacred tomb. The secrets of where this tomb lays has been past down from generation to generation, only we know its location, and we intend to keep it safe.'
' What...what tomb is this?' asked Rose, interested but reluctant.
Oded turned to face Rose and looked straight at her, ' Tell me which tomb you are looking for first.'
Jack sat with his drink in his hand, his eyes swapping from Oded's powerful stare and Rose's startled face.
Rose took a drink, and looked up at the Arab ' It's the tomb believed to be where Seth, the God of Destruction was entombed.'
All the Nomads in the tent gasped and whispered in Arabic to each other, Oded glared at Rose, ' You are searching for the tomb of Seth...the tomb we are protecting from people like you.'
Rose looked shocked, ' You protect that tomb?'
' Yes...we have been for over Five Thousand years, you are not going to be the break in the chain.'
' But...it's just a myth.'
Oded stared at Rose ' It's no myth!...do you have any idea what you could release if you opened that tomb?'
Rose sat silent, Rick decided he should interrupt the deadly silence, ' Okay...so you guys have been protecting this tomb...who are you guys then? Ancient bodyguards?'
' We are the Heru'
Rose stood, ' You're the Heru?? I thought you were extinct!'
Jack's eyes darted between Rose and Oded, he slowly stood and raised his hand, 'Erm...who are the Heru exactly?'
Oded walked around the inside of the tent, his eyes showed him in deep thought, Rose looked at Rick and Jack, ' The Heru are Ancient protectors, said to be the descendents of Heru.'
Jack looked at Rose, ' And Heru is...?'
Rose took a deep breath...' Heru is the Egyptian name of the God Horus.'
Jack looked at her dumbfounded, ' So...its not so much of a myth after all.'
Rose just looked at Jack and didn't say a word.
Oded stood behind Rose, ' There is more...'
Rose turned and looked at him, ' What?'
' We have heard that the Nazi's are here for a reason...to release Seth.'
' My god! If they release him, they will be-'
' Invincible', Oded took the words right out of her mouth.
Rick remained in his seat, ' Hitler...he's obsessed with the occult.'
' Yes.' Oded replied, ' He knows the power Seth beholds, if he releases him, he will have great rewards.'
Jack slumped back in his chair, ' Oh great...I cant even get away from the damn army.'
Rick walked towards Oded, ' We can help you.'
Oded stood and thought for a while, ' How do I know I can trust you American?'
' I followed you after you threaten to kill us and offer you our help...isn't that enough proof of trust?'
Oded looked him up and down, ' Very well...you may help us.'
Jack stood back up quickly ' Wait!...does that mean we will be fighting?'
' Of course.' Oded replied ' We are at war with a powerful force, but so far we have managed to keep them at bay...but I fear they are getting closer.'
Jack made a face and walked out of the tent, he was greeted by men and women shaking his hand and smiling, he felt a little more at ease, these people we're friendly and strong. That night there was much celebrating, lots of beer got drunk, the nomads seemed pleased to have Rick and the group joining them.
Oded sat in the tent with Jack, Rose and Rick, they spoke about their families and laughed and joked.
Kaysha came back from her watch in the valleys of the East; she was tired and couldn't wait to talk to her family. She walked into the tent to see the three people she was told to attack drinking her beer and eating her food, she stood gob smacked in the entrance.
'Ahh Kaysha my dear, come in.' Oded said happily.
' What are THEY doing here?' she asked him sternly with a very thick Arabic accent.
' Ahh, this is Rick, Jack and Rose, they are helping us get rid of the Germans invading our homeland.'
Jack cheekily smiled and waved at her, she squinted at him and left the tent.
' Wow...she wasn't too cheery.' Jack commented.
Oded looked at him, ' Oh ignore her...she's very protective of her family, but she's the best fighter we have ever had...she has killed many German soldiers, even a General.'
Rose looked at Oded, ' Why doesn't she look like any of the members of your family?...I mean, you are dark olive skinned, she is tanned with green eyes and blond hair...very European looking.'
' We adopted her. You see, her father was going to sell her to a camel seller...Haveeb I think he was called...'
Rose stared at Rick in amazement, ' We bought camels from a man named Haveeb in Cairo.'
' That will be him...he's a shifty character...he will rob you blind if you ever see him again. Luckily we saved Kaysha from him, we trained her and brought her up as one of our own. Strange though, we think her mother was a European, you don't get many Blond girls here, that's why Haveeb was so interested in her, she was only Four years old and has no recollection of her Mother, but she does of Haveeb...if she ever sees him again, I pity him.' Oded laughed.
'Yeah well, I'd like to see that...he's a smelly guy.' Rick commented.
Jack slipped out of the tent while the conversation was in full swing; he saw Kaysha sat cross-legged on the sand facing the setting sun away from the celebrations. She was dressed in black cloths which wrapped around her body, she had two sticks on attached to her back, they crisscrossed over her spine and looked like powerful weapons, she also had a very large scimitar sword in the centre, Jack approached carefully and sat next to her.
' Nice sunset huh?'
Kaysha looked at him from the corner of her eye, and then went back to looking straight ahead.
' Say...you got quite a kick on you...I think you broke a rib.'
' I did what I had to do.'
' Not saying you didn't.'
She looked at him, ' You must be Jack.'
' Yeah...that's me.'
She raised her eyebrows then stared straight ahead again.
' You don't say much do you?'
' I say only what is important.'
Jack stayed silent for a while and looked ahead at the orange horizon. ' So what's those tattoos on your face?'
' It is the name of Heru.'
' Ahhh...the Horus guy.'
' He is not a "guy", he is a God.'
' So I hear.'
Jack looked down at her hands, she had more tattoos, three long stripes ran down from the top of her wrist to the tips of her three middle fingers. ' So what are they?' he asked pointing at the tattoos.
' It shows what clan I am in, it's like an identity card.'
Jack looked at the concentration on her face as she meditated.
' What are you staring at?' she asked without even looking at him.
He seemed a bit surprised, ' I'm not staring.'
' Well what are you doing then if it is not staring?'
' Wondering what your doing.'
' I'm meditating.'
' What's that?'
Kaysha sighed and looked at him ' Why are you bothering me?'
' Because...I want to get to know you better.'
Kaysha laughed to herself and looked down, ' No one wants to know me...not even the people you see around you, they see me as a mysterious warrior and that is it.'
' Aren't these people your family?'
' Yes...but they still see me as something different, and I don't know what.'
Kaysha stood and walked towards the fire, Jack watched her go, her sword gleaming in the orange sunlight.

Jack awoke in the early hours of the morning to find himself the last person up, he looked around to see about Fifty Nomads wandering around, and the sun wasn't even fully up yet. He saw Rick and Rose talking to Oded near the main tent, and once again Kaysha was facing the now rising sun, she was kicking the air, and swinging her sword, she was in training. Jack slowly stood and brushed off the sand, he considered going to talk to Kaysha again, but he was interrupted, a large group of horses was heading the camp's way, more Nomads.
They rode straight through the camp; the nomad jumped off his horse and walked over to Oded.
' What is it?' Oded asked.
' We have spotted a German camp...just beyond the valley's in the West, they are close...very close.'
Rick looked at Oded, he seemed surprised the Germans had come so far.
' What are we going to do?' Rick asked.
' We must execute the camp...all of the soldiers in it.'
Oded made a hand signal to the men in the camp, they all covered their faces, grabbed their weapons and mounted their horses.
' Rick...we could use your help.'
He nodded to Oded and grabbed his guns, ' Come on Jack.' He shouted.
Jack turned, ' I thought I'd stay here and help the women cook-' Rick gave him a disgruntled look and Jack stopped talking, ' Ill get my stuff shall I?'
'Kaysha!' Oded shouted, ' Come...it is time!'
Kaysha mounted her black horse and covered her head and face with the black cloth that hung around her neck.
Jack looked around...' Don't tell me we have to ride the camels.'
Oded looked down at him from his black steed, ' You don't see anymore horses do you?'
' But they're so sloooooooow.'
' Not true my son...camels can move faster along the sands than horses.'
' Then why don't you have camels?'
Oded laughed ' I never said they would run when you asked them to.'
Grudgingly, Jack got on his camel. Rick kissed Rose goodbye, ' Be careful Rick.'
' Don't worry, ill be back later, okay?'
He got onto his camel and Oded made the signal to leave, Jack trotted up beside Kaysha and smiled at her, Kaysha rolled her eyes and sped off toward the front of the group. Jack screwed his face up and Rick rode up beside him, ' Woman trouble huh?'
' She wants me really...she just wont admit it.'
' Yeah....' Rick said cocking his eyebrow.' I'm sure that's it Jack.'

The group entered the West valley cautiously; there could be hidden packs of German spotters or snipers. Kaysha and Oded rode upfront with the two men that spotted the camp, Jack and Rick weren't too far behind...well, they could sort of see the horses.
' How old you reckon she is?..Kaysha I mean.'
Rick turned his head slowly to Jack, ' Oh I don't know...eighteen...somewhere in that region.'
Jack smiled, ' Yeah...somewhere.'
Kaysha turned her head slowly and looked at the back of the group, she could just see the two camels, they weren't too far behind...well, she could see them anyway.
Jack saw her turn, ' Hey...hey, she turned and looked at me!'
Rick creaked his neck over to Jack's side, ' I don't know, she could be looking at her family.'
' No no, she's looking at me.'
Rick raised his eyebrows at Jack, but he didn't pay attention, he sat and looked back at the dark figure. Kaysha slowly turned her head back to the front and smiled discreetly, but she soon snapped herself out of it, she couldn't possibly get involved with an American.
The men at the front of the group slowed almost to a halt, and so did the rather large group of nomads behind them, the men turned to Oded, ' Just over the top of here.'
Oded nodded and trotted up the top of the rocky ridge and looked below, he couldn't believe his eyes. There must have been at least a Hundred German soldiers, and those soldiers would have Generals. Oded wiped his brow, the camp had reasonable protection around it, men with rifles, but no towers...that made Oded suspicious of it.
He rode back down the ridge and joined the rest of the group, by this time Rick and Jack had caught up, ' So what's the story?' Rick asked.
Oded looked up at him, and his eyes darted around the rest of the group, ' It's a big camp...around a Hundred men, maybe more, two large tents, armed protection around the sides.'
' Sounds like a permanent camp and not a mobile one.' Kaysha commented.
' That was my assumption too.'
Jack looked around the group, ' So what's the plan of action?'
Oded thought for a moment, ' I say...a surprise attack...they are not too far from the cliffs on the other side...I say we ride up to them and then charge the camp.'
The nomads all agreed, Jack raised a hand.
' What is it Jack?'
' We charge the camp?...how do me and Rick do that exactly?...we could do it faster walking.'
' Very well, you may share a horse...Rick, you ride with Mohammed.' Jack smiled at Kaysha...' Jack...you ride with Khamil.'... His face dropped.
' Lets move!'
As they slowly moved up the ridge, Oded stopped and turned to the group, ' The time has come to charge, we shall do it all as one and not in groups, stick together, they will shoot at us, but have a slow chance of hitting us if we are far, we only shoot at them when we are close enough...is that clear?' They all nodded. ' Very well...me and Kaysha shall lead the charge.'
They trotted to the very top of the small ridge, Kaysha looked down onto the camp, it was bigger than she expected, Oded turned to her, ' You ready?'
' I'm ready.'
They quickly sped off down the cliff at a great speed and the rest followed, it took a while before the Germans noticed a sea of dust heading towards them, the commanding officer stood from his chair and dropped his hot tea onto the sand and stood slack-jawed.
He shouted at his soldiers to get their weapons and get ready to fire.
Kaysha could see the soldiers manically running around the confines of the camp, she speeded up.
Jack hung onto Khamil like a leech and didn't open his eyes.
Kaysha led the charge right to the centre of the camp, she was only a few metres away now, she was coming at a great speed that took the soldiers by surprise. She saw on the right of the entrance a German soldier trying to un-jam his gun. Kaysha stood on the saddle of her horse slid down to the right hand side of it holding onto the saddle, as the horse sped into the camp she kicked the soldier in the jaw, knocking him to the ground.
She ploughed through the rest of the soldiers in the camp until eventually she un-mounted her horse and stood with her sword in her hand ready to strike.
Oded was next to enter with a barrage of men behind him, some were shooting, others were throwing swords towards un-suspecting Germans and hitting them in the back.
Kaysha was slicing and kicking anyone that wasn't her own, she was like a whirlwind of steel. Rick jumped off Mohammed's horse and pulled out two revolvers and began shooting. When Khamil's horse entered the camp it got knocked down by a German falling into it's path and getting trampled, Jack fell off and into a group of German's that were facing the opposite way, making them fall forwards, Jack quickly stood, but one turned and punched him in the jaw and he fell to the floor.
Oded stood with his sword in both hands and sliced into a soldier, but another came from the side, kicked it out of his hand and aimed a pistol at him, Oded leaped on him and tried to remove the gun from him, but he was much stronger.
Kaysha turned to see the commanding officer aiming a gun at her, she quickly flipped out of the way of the bullet as it hit another German and she took off one of her battle sticks from her back and swung it hard at his chin, it knocked him backwards, she picked up her sword and drove it hard through his throat.
Jack stood up and punched the soldier that hit him in the face and knocked him flying into another German, but he then got kicked hit in the back with the blunt end of a rifle, he fell forwards and the German jumped on him, and held a knife to his back, Kaysha turned and saw this, ' Jack!' she shouted and ran over to him, she kicked the dagger out of the German's hand and then kicked him in the jaw, she picked up the dagger and threw it at the German who had quickly stood to run, it hit him in the back of the neck and he fell dead.
Oded struggled on with the strong German, but he was weakening, the German elbowed him in the stomach, and aimed the gun at Oded's face, Kaysha turned, 'NO!' she screamed...but there was a bang...Kaysha looked at Oded thinking his face was going to be blown away, but the German rolled off Oded with a bullet in his back.
There was silence for a few seconds...all of the Germans were dead. Kaysha ran and embraced Oded. ' Did you shoot him?' he asked confusingly.
' No...I thought you did.'
Oded looked at Rick, ' Was it you?', Rick shook his head and shrugged.
A dark figure stepped out from the dust, he had a brown leather jacket and several guns strapped to his body, Rick aimed his gun.
' I shot him.' The man said.
' Who are you?' Rick asked guns still aimed.
' My name is Daniel...you can call me Dan.'
' You are American' Oded commented, ' Why are you here? Why did you help us?'
Dan stepped out from the dust and coughed a little, ' I'm a bounty hunter.'
Jack staggered up and rubbed his shoulder, ' A what?'
' A bounty hunter...I kill Germans...for a price of course.' Kaysha gave him a shady look.
' Who sent you?' Rick asked.
' That's restricted information...all you need to know is I'm on your side. I've been following this German camp for months, thanks for doing most of the hard work.'
Kaysha squinted at him and picked up her weapons, Oded walked up to Dan, ' You may come back to my camp, we have food there.'
The nomads collected the jewellery of all the Nomads that were dead and collected their horses. They all mounted and headed back to their camp, Oded turned to the group, ' Kaysha, Jack, go collect those camels from the valley.'
Kaysha reluctantly nodded and trotted off, Jack rode up beside her, ' Hey...thanks for...saving my life.'
' I did what I had to do.'
' Yeah...lucky that Dan guy was around huh?'
Kaysha looked away and made a face, Jack leaned forward to try and see her, 'Kaysha....?'
She turned and looked at him without expression, ' I don't trust that man.'
' What Dan?...he seems harmless...after all he did save-'
' I could have saved Oded...I didn't HAVE to save you.'
Jack glared at Kaysha, ' You know...what is it with you? Your not very grateful.'
' I'm just very protective of my family...I don't trust people if I feel they don't deserve it, I'm not as easy to convince as Oded.'
' Do you trust me?'
Kaysha turned and stared at him, she wasn't expecting that question, ' Do I have a choice on answering that?'
' No...you have to be honest.'
Kaysha laughed quietly and smiled...' Yes...I do.'
Jack beamed and smiled at her, Kaysha shyly looked back ahead, but she couldn't stop smiling herself, he did have the most beautiful deep brown eyes.
They quickly collected the camels, tied them onto their horses and trotted back towards the Nomad camp.
When it was in sight, there was something strange about it, it seemed empty and desolate, they could just see Oded and the few other men who had survived, including Dan and Rick, ' Something is wrong.' Kaysha said with a slight quiver in her voice.
' What is it?'
' I don't know...come on.'
They speeded up slightly and arrived at the camp...the tents had been ripped to shreds, there were wooden bowls and cups sprawled all over the camp, and the women were missing, including Rose. Kaysha jumped off her horse and ran to Oded, ' What happened.' Oded just looked at her.
' Germans.' Dan interrupted, ' A lot of them.'
' How can you tell?.' Asked Jack.
Dan licked his finger and put it in the air then looked at Jack, ' Footprints...here...German army boots...cant mistake them.' Dan grabbed a handful of sand and sniffed it, ' "SS"...these are the big boys.'
Kaysha looked over to Rick, he was staring at the floor, holding a scarf that Rose had been wearing, ' The camp we charged was a decoy.' Commented Kaysha.
' That's what we think too.' Oded replied. ' All the women are gone.'
Kaysha stood and thought for a moment...' They are still alive, they didn't come here to kill them, they have kidnapped them, they are the bait for us...they know we are a threat.'
Dan raised his eyebrows.
' And Rose knows about that tomb.' Rick said looking up, ' They planned this.'
' They must have known about your visit.' Kaysha replied.
Dan walked closer to the group, ' What tomb?'
Rick looked at him, ' A tomb the museum sent her to explore.'
' You see...I've seen a party of Germans...they have been bringing in crates of tools and things, and they hired Egyptians as diggers, lots of work has been going on.'
Kaysha looked at Oded, ' They must have found the tomb.'
' Yeah...and Rose is the archaeologist.' Rick said looking out over the horizon.
' Can you show us where this party is?' Oded asked Dan.
' Sure, it's not far from here.'
They once again mounted their horses and followed Dan back into the desert.

The German's took the truckload of Arab women across the desert, far from the camp from which they were taken. Rose peered out of a small crack in the back of the truck, all she could see was sand and more sand, she looked around at all the frightened women, ' Its going to be okay.' She said reassuringly, ' I don't think they want to kill us.'
After an hour of travelling the truck came to a halt, the breaks squeaking. A German soldier opened the back of the truck, and his two comrades ushered the women out with rifles towards a small tent in the centre of what looked like an old Egyptian city, pillars and stone lay silent, covered by sand for centuries but brought back to the light by men and women. Rose stood at the front of the group and saw a German officer drinking tea and listening to music on an old gramaphone, ' Ahh...you must be Rose.' He said while standing, ' We have been waiting for you...put the other women in a holding pen inside the catacombs.' He shouted to the soldiers and they rushed the women into a small opening that went deep into the rock.
Rose turned to the officer, ' How did you know my name...and my visit here?'
' You will find out in due time my lady...but for now, lets talk.'
The officer offered Rose a seat, and she slowly sat down, ' Now.' He said, ' Tell me what you know about the tomb of Seth.'
Rose looked on at him and sighed, she knew she had to tell him or he'd kill her.

After a lot of explaining a soldier came and took Rose by the arm, ' What are you doing?' she asked, the officer stood,
' Well, we cannot let you go...you are too valuable to our cause...oh and before I forget, I thank you for the information you have just given me, I'm sure it will become very useful to us.'
The soldier pulled Rose into the entrance in the rock face, inside was dark and damp and the air smelled stale. There were cages inside, some had Arab men in them, others had women, but Rose was taken deeper inside and put into a rather large pen with two very uncomfortable looking beds, the soldier slammed the door behind her and locked it, Rose looked outwards...she couldn't even see the light outside, she sighed heavily.
' Rose?' a familiar voice said. She quickly spun round and saw her brothers face.
' Christopher?!...Is that you?'
He ran and embraced her, ' I'm so glad your alive sister.'
' Chris...what are you doing here? I thought you were on a dig in Turkey!'
' Well I was.' He replied in his British accent, ' But those bastards caught me and brought me here, said they needed as many archaeologists as possible...or something.'
' So it was you that told them of my visit here.'
' Yes, sorry about that...but they were going to kill me.' Chris looked around, 'Where's Rick?'
Rose sat on the low bed, ' He is with a group of Nomads, he went with them to exterminate a German camp...while he was gone a large group of German soldiers came and brought us here...I don't even know if Rick is still alive.' Rose shed a small tear and Chris wiped it away,
' Don't worry Rose...Rick is a survivor...I'm sure he's fine.' She managed a faint smile before a screaming interrupted them; they looked up the dark corridor to see a young woman being dragged towards their pen. Rose and Chris stood back as the Soldier opened the door and pushed the woman inside, the force made her fall to the floor and the door was slammed shut behind her, Chris ran to help her stand,
' Oh...oh thank you sir.' She gratefully said. She wore a beautiful blue dress and had long flowing blond hair.
' Are you okay?' Rose asked politely.
' Oh...yes I'm fine thank you.' She was quite obviously American and wore a beautiful silver necklace; Chris smiled at her and sat with his sister.
' Oh...how rude of me.' She said slightly out of breath, ' My name is Amy.'
' Oh, I'm Chris and this is my sister Rose.'
They all shook hands and Amy sat on the bed with them; ' So...why are you two locked up in here?' she asked straightening her hair clips.
' Because the Germans need archaeologists apparently.' Chris replied., ' Are you an archaeologist Amy?'
' Oh me...no, I'm just a tourist. I just happened to get in the way.'
Chris looked at his sister, ' What do you suppose they're going to do with us?'
Rose looked up at him, ' I don't know Chris...I really don't know.'

Dan led the small caravan of horses across the arid desert, it was almost dark and they had been travelling all day.
' I thought you said this camp wasn't far.' Oded commented.
' Its not, well not really, its not far now guys don't worry.'
'Oded's got a point Dan, we have been travelling due West for hours.' Rick said wiping his brow.
Dan stopped and turned to the group who had also stopped behind him, ' Were heading West?...I thought it was East.'
The groups faces dropped and glared at Dan...' I'm kidding guys.', Dan laughed and turned back around.
' Wow...you're a funny guy Dan...you nearly made me fall off my horse laughing.' Jack said disgruntled.
' Hey...I'm just trying to get a rise out of you boring guys...its like riding with the dead.'
Kaysha trotted up to Dan at the front, ' So...who do you work for?'
' I told you I can't give such information.'
' Is it because I'm a Nomad and have a reputation slapped onto my head?...is that why you wont tell me?'
' No...its because I can't.'
Kaysha eyed Dan up and down, ' You don't seem like such a great warrior.'
' I don't have to be...I'm a bounty hunter and I'm told who to kill and when, I don't need to be a super hero to do what I'm good at.... besides, you don't look like much of a great warrior yourself.'
Kaysha squinted at him; only her eyes could be seen but she was mouthing Arabic swear words at him under her mask. ' I have killed a member of the Gestapo.'
Dan looked at her ' Wow...really?...geez, I cant compare with that, I mean, getting secret papers and blowing up an army doesn't come close.' Dan chuckled to himself and Kaysha squinted even more.
' I quite like that Dan guy.' Jack said,
Rick looked at him. ' Why?'
' Oh I don't know...he just seems like a cool guy...I wonder if he trains people to be bounty hunters.'
Kaysha overheard this conversation as she slowed down to trot next to Oded, she looked at Jack with dis-belief, she pulled a face at him and turned away but Jack didn't see her.
After a few more minutes Dan stopped, ' That's it...over there.'
The group creaked their neck forwards and saw some dim lights on the horizon; Oded jumped off his horse and squinted, ' Right.' He said, ' Jack, Rick, Dan and all of my men will creep up to the camp on foot, Kaysha, you stay here.'
Kaysha pulled down her mask and looked sternly at Oded, ' What!...you cant leave me here!'
' Kaysha, I am in charge and you will do as I say.'
Kaysha jumped off her Arab stallion and looked at Oded, ' Why are you leaving me behind? Am I not good enough?'
Oded walked up to Kaysha and held onto her arms, ' Kaysha, the reason why I want you to stay is because you are such a great warrior...if we get captured...you are the only one who can save us.'
' But if I go with you we have a better chance of winning.'
' Kaysha stop...think about it...if we get captured the Germans will not expect another attack, they think we are the only ones left in their way...look Kaysha, do you see where they are situated? It's the tomb of Seth, they have found it...if we get captured altogether we have no way of stopping them, you will be our only hope.'
Kaysha looked down and Oded got his weapons from his horse.
Jack got off his horse and looked at Oded, ' So were going to march right into that army and try to stop them...wont that get them angry?'
Kaysha looked at Jack and slowly walked up to him and smiled, ' If they capture you, I will come and save you.' She whispered. Jack looked deep into her eyes, he was quite surprised she was beginning to talk to him properly, he smiled and embraced her, Kaysha could feel him shaking. Oded made the signal to move and they walked off; Kaysha could only stand and watch.

Inside the tomb, Rose, Chris and Amy sat quietly and awaited their fate. A German soldier eventually came and opened the door to their cell, the trio stood.
He grabbed Amy's arm hard and dragged her out of the cell screaming, ' Amy!' Chris shouted but Rose pulled him back, ' Don't Chris.' She said, ' They wont kill her.'
' What are they going to do with her?'
' I don't know...but I have a feeling it's got something to do with Seth.'
Chris sighed heavily and looked out of the bars, Rose squeezed his shoulder, ' Don't worry Chris...I'm sure someone will come for us soon.'

Oded and his men crept up beside a small cliff and looked at the camp ahead, he turned and signalled to Jack and Rick who crept up to join them, ' It looks well guarded.' Oded said to them ' But I cant see any sign of Rose and the women...I cant even see how many men there are in the camp.'
' Well we'll just have to go in there and fight.' Jack said confidently, the whole grouped slowly turned their heads in unison and looked at him, ' What...?' he said feeling a little insecure, ' Cant a guy have a feeling of confidence once in a while?'
Oded turned back and thought...' We have no other choice...if we come in from their right flank the two men guarding the entrance may not see us.'
They all nodded and slowly crept further ahead, they were almost crawling along the sand they were so low down; Dan loaded his two Colt 45 pistols and waited for the signal from Oded.
After waiting for the right moment, Oded waved over to the men and they all stood and charged, Dan jumped over the dry wall and booted a soldier in the nose, he turned and began shooting, he fired a whole round and pulled out more guns from his belt, everywhere German's were dropping like flies. Rick pulled out his shotgun and began shooting at close range, Jack and the nomad men when straight into the centre and began shooting, Oded at the front popping off any man in a uniform, it wasn't long before the punch ups started and more and more soldiers came barraging out from crevases in the rock face, it seemed like an endless supply of men were heading towards them one by one.
Dan ploughed through a large group of men with high kicks and acute shots; he was unstoppable, mad, but unstoppable, as he turned to shoot a crawling soldier in the ass he was interrupted, ' Stop!' was all he heard, he turned to see Oded, Jack and Rick all with guns aimed at the back of their heads, ' Put your weapon down.' The officer ordered him, Dan squinted but he had to, there was so many of them, he wouldn't have been able to kill them all. He dropped his weapons, which took about Five minutes and put his hands up, ' Lock them in the catacombs.' The officer said sternly, Dan eyed him as they were frog marched into the tomb, they went deep down and were pushed into Rose and Jack's cell, ' Rick!' Rose shouted and ran and embraced him, he looked down at her,
' Are you okay Rose? They didn't hurt you?'
' No...but they have had me and Chris locked up in here for hours.'
Rick looked at Chris, ' I thought you were on a dig in Turkey.'
' I was...but I got captured.'
Jack looked at him, and turned to Rick, ' Who's Chris?'
' Its Rose's brother.'
' She has a brother?' Jack raised his eyebrows, ' He grew up with her and survived? I'm amazed!'
Oded looked around, ' They must be trying to open the tomb of Seth.'
Rose looked at him, ' This is the tomb?? Were inside it?!'
' Yes, but Seth is deeper inside, locked up in a large chamber.'
' What are we going to do?'
' Don't worry...Kaysha will save us.'
' A young girl against a God...is that supposed to sound right?'
' You do not understand...it is what she was brought here for...you see...Kaysha-' Oded was interrupted by several soldiers opening the cell,
' Everyone out!' he ordered and they all stepped out.'
'Where is Amy?!' Chris shouted to one of the soldiers, but he was just butted in the back by a rifle and forced deeper inside the tomb.
They were marched single file deep into the tomb, it kept leading down and deeper into the cliff, beautiful pictures on the walls showed the battle Horus had had with Seth to avenge his father Osiris's death. They finally arrived inside a huge circular chamber; its ceiling circled high and facing each other on opposite sides of the room were two statues, one of Horus and the other of Seth.
Around the walls were large iron cuffs and some had been taken by the arab women who were kidnapped, they gasped when they saw Oded, Rick and Jack enter, who were quickly cuffed to the stone walls. Rick turned to his left and looked at his wife, 'What's going on?'
' I think it's the ceremony...they're going to awake Seth.'
Chris looked around and saw Amy standing next to a guard, but she was not cuffed and did not move, he turned to Rose who was on his right, ' What have they done to her?'
Rose looked at Amy who stood expressionless and facing straight ahead, Rose noticed bloodstains around her mouth, ' Oh god.' Rose whispered, ' They have made her drink the blood.'
' What blood?' ' The sacred blood of the high priest of Seth...he too was entombed with him and his blood was hidden inside a statue...she is now a follower of Seth...she is possessed.'
Chris stood in dis-belief; Amy was now sided with the Nazi's.

Kaysha sat in the dark alone, thoughts ran through her head, she heard the shooting and fighting, but it had all stopped so suddenly, she was beginning to wonder if they had been captured, ' They would have been back by now.' She thought, and she hastily headed towards the camp on foot.

It was well into the night and the oil lamps from the German camp dimly lit the sands, Kaysha crept up to the camp and hid behind a stone wall, only a few soldiers were guarding the camp, they obviously felt now they had Rick and the others locked away they didn't need to protect the camp as much.
A few of the soldiers left their posts to go and play cards with some other men and Kaysha took the opportunity to swiftly creep past and go into the tomb entrance.
The tomb inside crisscrossed with tunnels and it was highly confusing which way was the correct way, Kaysha took a chance and went deeper into the tomb, she came into a tunnel that was quite large in width, the crunching of sand echoed underneath her feet, the wind above ground whistled through the tunnels as if it was alive, then she began to here voices, she quickly looked around for a place to hide and jumped behind a large rock, several soldiers marched past laughing and joking and Kaysha watched them carefully. When they were out of sight Kaysha stood and checked it was safe, she looked down the corridor she was going to head down and grimaced, it was pitch black.
' Halt!' a voice shouted from behind, she spun to see one of the soldiers pointing a rifle at her, she had no choice but to run down the tunnel, ' Intruder!' the German shouted as he chased down after her. She was as swift as the wind and much faster than him, she turned while running to check behind her, suddenly she fell...she fell deep and slid down a shaft, she screamed and came to a thud as she landed.
She slowly stood and rubbed her head which had a small gash on it, she looked back up the shaft she had fell down, it was covered at that top, 'What just happened?' she thought to herself, she sighed heavily and looked around the darkened room, it was almost pitch black and strained on the eyes. She walked to the middle of the small room, and all of a sudden several fire torches lit on their own one by one on the stonewalls, Kaysha watched them as they room lit up and revealed itself to her.
She checked the floor she was standing on to see if she had tripped on a switch, but there was nothing. She rubbed her forehead confusingly, ' How am I supposed to get out of here?' suddenly she heard a screech, Kaysha turned with a battle stick in both hands and looked around, ' Who's there?' she said with a quiver...silence...suddenly a large bird swooped at her face from the shadows, Kaysha dropped to the floor and looked around for it, she slowly stood and defensively held up her stick, she saw the bird sat on a small ledge and it screeched at her, it looked like a falcon, ' How did you get stuck in here?' she said, it slowly flew down and landed on Kaysha's shoulder, she grimaced thinking it was either going to claw her face or scream in her ear, but it didn't, it just looked at her. It again flew off and landed on what looked like an old sarcophagus.
Kaysha , looked at it, she felt she needed to open it. She knelt down and struggled to move the heavy granite lid, it slowly inched further and further until there was enough space for Kaysha to see inside. She took a flame torch from the wall and peered inside, something glittered at her, it looked like gold. She cautiously put her hand inside and pulled out a small object and looked at it, she just stared, it was a pure gold wrist bracelet and was beautifully engraved, she put her hand in deeper and pulled out a bigger object, ' A golden breast plate?...who would wear such fine armoury?', the falcon screeched at Kaysha and she looked up at it...that's when it hit her, ' This...it's the armour of Horus...it has to be!',
Kaysha realised what she had to do and pulled off a large piece of black cloth hanging from her neck, she bundled the other wrist bracelet inside with the first and the plate and wrapped it up. Kaysha looked around...' I cant get out...how am I supposed to find the statue?', the falcon flew over to a high ledge and sat on it, suddenly a heavy stone door beneath it began to creep open, the light flooded inside and the falcon swooped down to her shoulder, she slowly walked out of the door.
Kaysha was on a very high ledge above a circular room, she saw a German soldier below and she quickly dropped to the floor, the flacon flew over to a ledge higher up. Kaysha peered over the edge, she couldn't believe her eyes, she saw Rose, Rick and Oded cuffed to a wall, she looked around and saw Jack and Dan close to an entrance, she saw the statue of Seth on the opposite side, she peered down further to see the statue of Horus underneath, she had to get to that statue somehow, it was her only chance.

The German officer turned his head to Amy and she nodded. She slowly walked to the centre of the circular room and knelt down on the sand, she drew a circle around her and closed her eyes. 'Hotep Netjer em shabu en imeni her iabi' she chanted, ' Keche amir, Haisen du Seth.' A low groaning noise was heard, and then a shuffling noise, Amy opened her eyes and smiled, several mummified beings shuffled through the entrance of the chamber, Jack looked on, his jaw wide open, Chris looked at his sister, ' What just happened?'
Rose didn't turn to her brother, she just stared at the decayed figures, ' She summoned the priests of Seth...only they can wake the God.'
Amy stood and looked at the priests who bowed to her, she pointed to the statue of Seth and they bowed again, the German's watched onward as the mummies kneeled in a circle before the statue and sang incantations.
Kaysha watched with fascination from the top of the room, not knowing what to do, she slowly stood and disappeared into the shadows.
The priests slowly swayed from side to side while they sang, the German officer stood next to Amy, ' I thought they were going to wake Seth.' He asked. Amy looked at him,
' They are...all in due time.'
Suddenly, there was a reaction, the statue shook slightly and turned a blood red colour, the bracelets and jewellery carved into the statue turned to gold and the eyes of the golden Jackal head mask glowed pink like gems, his muscular body was not stone but flesh and was a dark tan, he wore the traditional kilt of the pharaoh, and leather sandals, the room was filled with electricity and made the small hairs on the soldiers' body stand on end, suddenly there was a bright flash of light and there he stood, everyone gasped, he glimmered with immense power.
Seth looked around the room; he bowed to his loyal priests and to Amy. The God turned and walked through a doorway to another chamber followed by his priests.
Amy was about to follow him when something stopped her, ' Stop right there!' a voice said, everyone turned to see Kaysha stood with a gleaming sword, Jack smiled to himself, the soldiers aimed their guns at her but Amy stopped them.
' Kaysha!' Oded shouted, ' You must stop him!', she turned to her right to see Oded cuffed to a wall,
' I will save you.' She said jumping off a small ledge.
' No!...Kaysha you must stop Seth.'
Amy walked up to Jack and looked right into his eyes, ' Take him.' She ordered, ' He has a use.'
The soldiers quickly uncuffed him and held onto his arms.
Kaysha turned, ' Jack!' she shouted, Jack shook his head at her slightly and signalled for her to stay, she watched him get dragged off into another room.
The German officer looked at Amy as she passed him, ' She is a threat! We should kill her!'
' No!...she has no power, Seth has plans for her...leave her...tell your men to leave this chamber.'
The officer rounded up his men and told them to wait out of the chamber in case Kaysha attempted to escape.
Kaysha watched them leave and the stone door get slammed shut behind them, it was then she realised she was a prisoner, ' Kaysha...listen to me.' Oded whispered, 'When Jack returns, he wont be Jack anymore.'
Kaysha looked at him, ' What do you mean?'
' Seth is going to use him...Jack is to be Seth's mortal representation.'
Kaysha looked at him confusingly, ' You mean...Jack is representing Seth...in what?'
' The battle.'
' What battle?'
Oded sighed annoyingly, ' The battle of Seth and Horus on Earth.'
' So who is the representative of Horus?'
Oded looked at her and raised his eyebrows, Kaysha's face dropped, ' You have to be kidding me!'
' Kaysha...it's what you were sent here for.'
' Sent here?'
Oded took a deep breath, ' The reason why you were sent here is to fight for Horus, Kaysha...you have no mother or father...we found you in the old temple near ancient Thebes, we were told to expect a magnificent warrior sent from the Netjer, the gods, to be found there ...YOU are that warrior Kaysha...it is your purpose.'
Kaysha stared at Oded without expression, she didn't even blink, ' No...' is the only words she could get out.
' Kaysha...you must destroy him...you have to kill Jack.'
' NO!' she screamed, it echoed throughout the chamber, at that moment the god re-entered the chamber, he saw Kaysha and his eyes glowed deep red, behind him was Jack, he looked evily at Kaysha and smiled to himself, his mouth covered in blood, it was then she realised Oded was right...it was up to her.

Kaysha turned to Oded, ' I can't do this...I just cant.'
' Kaysha! You have to, Seth is using Jack against us...he knows you have feelings for him.'
' I do not!', she shouted angrily.Kaysha sighed and looked over to Jack, ' He can't fight me...I kicked him in the ribs and he fell like a rag doll.'
' He now has great fighting skills, he is Seth...he isn't Jack anymore.'
Jack stepped in front of the God and looked at Kaysha with a stare that made her shudder. The falcon swooped over Kaysha's head and landed behind her on top of the statue of Horus, ' I have the amour!' she whispered.
' Good...put it on the statue.' Oded whispered back.
Kaysha had hid the armour in a small hole behind a ledge, as she turned to put the amour onto the stone she was met with an angry stare...Jack's stare. Kaysha jumped backwards, ' H...how...how did he?' was all she could get out of her quivering voice, he walked towards her slowly, looking down on her, Kaysha slowly walked backwards, she looked over to Oded through the corner of her eye,
' You need to put the armour on before you fight him!' he shouted to her, ' You need Horus here!'
' Great.' She whispered to herself.
' HEY! ANGRY BOY!', someone shouted, everyone stopped and looked over to Dan, who had somehow escaped from the cuffs, ' Why don't you pick on someone your own size?' Dan walked up to Jack and gave him a swift punch in the jaw, 'Kaysha!' he shouted, ' Quick, the armour!...ill hold him off till your finished!'
She nodded and jumped behind a small ledge to open the small bundle of rags with the glimmering armour inside. Dan was fist fighting well with Jack, but it wasn't long before the priests jumped on his back and tried to overthrow him, Dan was unarmed and could only use his fists to fight...so he did.
Jack began to bleed from his nose and he got a few kicks in while the priests smothered Dan. Kaysha put the pieces on bit by bit, first the bracelets, then the anklets, and finally, the heavy gold breastplate that she struggled with.
Dan looked up to see Kaysha had almost finished, he gave Jack another punch which knocked him to the floor and pushed off the priests, ' I cant fight this fight! It's up to you! Ill fight us a clear route outside!' Dan charged the German officer and dragged him outside after making him open the door; he punched and kicked his way out through the soldiers. By this time, Kaysha had finally put on the armour, ' NO!' screamed Amy, who tried to run and stop her, the falcon flew down from it's high ledge and dived at the statue, suddenly there was a bright light, Amy stopped to cover her eyes but some supernatural force pushed her backwards and she flew into a wall and fell unconscious,
' Amy!' Chris shouted as he tried to struggle free. The bright light faded to show a muscular figure also wearing a linen kilt and sandals, but he had a magnificent hawk headed mask, its eyes glimmered like diamonds, Kaysha was stood directly in front of him looking at Seth, her figure dwarfed by the tall god, he gently touched her shoulders and she walked forwards towards Jack who struggled to his feet to face her, she looked deep into his eyes, 'Jack?...do you remember me?'
Jack circled her like a hungry vulture, looking her up and down with a look of anger and hate, he didn't say a word, he stood and faced her again, ' Jack?' she asked again, her voice was soft and reassuring, but it hid a deep fear. Jack turned away from her as if to walk away, but he quickly turned back and hit her hard across the face, it sent her flying across the room, she hit the ground with a hard thud, she groaned slightly with pain, her lip weeping with blood. She turned to look at Jack and saw him marching towards her, she acted quickly and pulled her legs together, catching his and causing him to fall, she jumped onto him and punched him repeatedly in the face. Slowly she stood and walked backwards against a wall, Jack struggled to get up.
Rick looked over to Seth, he heard him whisper some words in a chilling way, he looked over to Kaysha to see a large muscular figure behind her, ' Kaysha! Behind you!' he shouted, she turned just in time to miss a hard blow from the large being, he came into the light, Rose gasped,
' It's one of Seth's eternal bodyguards, he could kill her!'
Kaysha ran to the centre of the room and watched as the bodyguard walked and stood in front of her, his muscular shadow towering over her small frame, Jack silently came up behind her, he was ready to pull out a dagger from his belt,
' Behind you!' shouted Chris, Kaysha looked from the corner of her eye to see Jack directly behind her, she had to act fast, she quickly stepped towards the bodyguard, ran up his chest a few steps and flipped off causing him to fall backwards, as she came down she grabbed a hold of Jack's shoulders, swung her legs forward and put them round his neck and put her hands down to the floor, she flipped Jack over her while doing a hand stand and he came plummeting down while she stood, Oded looked on in amazement, ' She has never done that before.' He whispered to himself in astonishment.
Kaysha picked up the dagger Jack had dropped and plunged it deep into the chest of the bodyguard. She stood and turned to Jack, ' Now its just you and me.' She said throwing the knife from his reach.
Jack struggled up but swiftly spin kicked her in the face, Kaysha staggered backwards but gained her balance quickly, she flipped backwards to avoid another kick and spun around sideways to avoid a punch, she kicked him in the spine and the back of the knees which caused him to buckle, he lifted his leg up behind him and it caught Kaysha in the jaw, she fell backwards and Jack swiftly jumped on top of her, he wrapped his hands around her throat and banged her head off the floor, ' Jack!' she managed to get out, ' Jaaack!', he stopped and looked at her, he stood and rubbed and shook his head,
Kaysha slowly stood up and coughed violently, Jack looked at Kaysha but he was only met with a kick in the face, he fell but it was near the dagger that she threw, he stood armed with it and he grabbed her throat hard and held the dagger to her face,
' Jack...Jack stop!' she whispered, her face began to turn purple, she could only manage to say one more word, ' Stop!'.
Oded looked on in horror as Kaysha's knees began to buckle and her eyelids dropped, Jack suddenly stopped squeezing and let go again, Kaysha gasped in a lung full of air and coughed again, she wouldn't survive another and she was too weak to fight, she looked to her left to see the Arab women looking on at her with worry, she then looked above them and saw something...it was a carving of a pharaoh, right in the centre between the two statues, Kaysha glared at it, she turned to Jack who was beginning to come back to his senses again, she realised what she had to do right then, she pulled Jack's face towards her and passionately kissed him on the lips, the two Gods raised their arms to the heavens and let out an incredible beam of light, it connected above Kaysha and Jack, who were still kissing and let out an incredible nova, lighting flew through the room and travelled through the handcuffs of Oded and the others and broke them free, it travelled through the mummies and turned them to dust, Jack's arms relaxed and he dropped the knife, then wrapped his arms around Kaysha's waist and pulled her closer while still kissing, the two Gods let out another explosion of light and turned back to stone, then there was silence.
Chris ran and helped Amy up who was awakening, ' Are you okay Amy?'
She looked at him dreary eyed, ' What just happened?'
Rose embraced her husband and Oded ran to Kaysha, who was still kissing Jack, 'Kaysha!' he shouted, she quickly pulled away from Jack and looked at Oded rather embarrassed, ' Y..yes?'
' You did it!' he embraced her tightly and the women rushed over to her, Jack watched dreary eyed and rubbed his head, he turned to Rick, ' Erm...did I drink too much or something my head is pounding.'
' You could say that.' Rick replied laughing.
' Oh...so nice to see my suffering amuses you.'
Jack caught eye contact with Kaysha and shyly smiled at her, she smiled back and the group headed to up out of the tomb.
At the top was chaos, trucks were on fire, men lay dead everywhere, and following the trail of chaos you came to Dan, ' Hi all...I take it went well.'
' Likewise.' Oded commented.
Kaysha walked up to Dan and smiled, ' Thanyou for your help Dan...I couldn't have done it without you.' She embraced him and kissed his cheeks, he went slightly red,
' Anytime...but I have to be going, I have more German's to kill elsewhere, I'm a busy guy...and Gods don't stop me' He grinned, mounted a camel and looked at the group, ' I'm sure ill be seeing you again...and Kaysha, if your lucky, maybe Hitler will shoot himself over this', he chuckled and they watched as he trotted off into the sun.
Rick walked up to Kaysha and Jack stood behind him, not knowing whether to talk to her or not, ' You did well.' Rick commented.
' Thanks...but you all helped me.'
' How did you know how to stop Seth?'
Kaysha smiled, ' I saw the carving of Pharaoh between the two gods...I thought, if Pharaoh can unite the two lands belonging to Horus and Seth, I can do the same...so I did, I didn't kill Seth, I simply united him with Horus.'
Jack smiled, ' How obvious is that...and we didn't see it.'
Chris and Amy finally came out of the tomb, he gently held her hand and explained what happened to her as she staggered out, ' I did that?' she said, ' I'm nothing like that though...I'm so embarrassed.'
' It couldn't be helped, I wanted to rescue you, but I couldn't.'
Amy stopped and looked at him, ' You'd rescue me?'
Chris shrugged embarrassingly, ' Yes.'
His British accent made her feel all tingly, she pounced on him and they fell to the ground and kissed passionately. Rose smiled at her brother and Amy.
Kaysha packed her camel up and got set to mount it, but Jack gently grabbed her arm, ' Hey...you okay? I didn't hurt you when I...'
' No...not really, but you can kick like a mule.' She replied smiling.
' So that whole kiss thing...was it just because of the whole God thing or...did you really want to...?'
Kaysha looked at him, ' I had to...it was the only way.'
Jack nodded and looked down, Kaysha gently lifted up his chin, ' But it's also because I wanted to.' She gently kissed him and he pulled her closer to him and kissed her back passionately as the sun gently rose and kissed their skin, warming them in the sands of time, the Gods were once again united as one and the majesty of Egypt lived on.
