I know some of you think Tool has nothing to do with paganism. For those of you who think that way, you should read their lyrics and listen to their music. If you look at them, you should be able to find the paganism in them... but maybe it's just me. I can find pagan roots in Christian hymns if i look hard enough. however please note that tho it happened, i doubt very much that was their intent... it's not that their a bunch of unintolerant ppl (i hope not anyways!) it's just that they seem to have this belief that a lack of belief is what's best... that's what my friend said he found in their lyrics anyways... my apologies to Tool if that was not their intent. ~Aryar between supposed lovers." no loving embrace to see me through this tedious path I've chosen here, I certainly would've walked away by now." To leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical And you will come to find that we are all one mind" my fear begins to fade recalling all of those times. I could have cried then. I should have cried then. And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes my fear begins to fade recalling all of the times I have died and will die. It's all right. I don't mind. I am too connected to you to slip away, to fade away." |
