Dragons and Their Meanings

*Eteroth's View On the FAQ's*

Q: How to own/have a dragon?

You can't. Dragons are our friends, the can never be owned and I'm pretty sure they despise us even thinking about it. Dragons don't own you like we don't own them!

Q: Well how do you contact one?

It depends on how badly you need one and how friendly they are. I've heard it takes little magic to converse with one but to befriend and call upon, it takes alot. But some even say that just thinking about dragons draws them to you. In my opinion, I really couldn't say I've conversed with the same dragon for about 6-8 years at leaste. I don't remeber calling her* but I do remember pretending to own a dragon when I was little and I guess she felt sorry for me and started to converse with me. Why? You have to ask her. But realise that I am the few who did it that way, I don't think my partners have any. This is one of my special talents. Do you have it?

* I don't know if dragons have a sex but I do know that my dragon doesn't mind me calling it a she.

Q: I've seen a dragon, what does it want? Why did it choose to befriend me?

There are many dragons in the asteral plains and in the real world. A way to understand why a certain dragon comes to you is the color of them.

Red Dragons~desire, passion, fire, rage. These dragons literally eat darkness, and transmute it to light. Intensity is only matched by the amount of fire these dragons wield.

Silver Dragons~Reflection, they inhabit the meridians of the universe. These dragons come around when we look into ourselves. Perspectives is a good word for silver dragons, and they see every perspective from every reflection.
White Dragons~They maintain the purity of the collective, the grace connection. They often are guardians. These dragons can also be channeled for healing. ( I have this dragon that visits me)
Blue Dragons~They are about the consciousness, communication, and mental awareness.
Orange Dragons~The will is the color orange. These dragons bring in strength, confidence, and bravery. Fire dragons by nature, they move with a quickness. They don't inflate ego's, they merely instill confidence.
Brown Dragons~Physicality, and all it's properties. They are masters of physics, on all realities. Shaping matter (shape shifting), gravity, physical form. Sphere's is a keyword to understanding the brown dragon.
Purple Dragon~The purple dragon, sometimes referred to as "the ancient ones", is the embodiment of the highest level of the dragon collective (the wisdom).
Green DragonThe planet dragon, or earth dragon. Material in a big sense, however green is the color of life in the big picture. Lessons of "the material", are a big part of the way they teach.
Yellow Dragons~they get knowledge and information transferred. They are linked to the subconscious (but aren't that), and usually bring in the information that is needed from one side to the other.
Black Dragon (Dragon, Chromatic)~ they are usually found in swamps and jungles. Their dark colour helps them to camoflague themselves, and they are excellent swimmers. These dragons are abusive and selfish, abandoning their young to save themselves. The primary diet of black dragons consists of aquatic creatures. Compared to other dragons they are not as intelligent, and are about 30 to 100 feet long. Their breath weapon is acid. *Note: This information was given to me by Cynthia and Snow Cat's Cave! Thanks

Does any one know about any other colors? Or would like to add to them? I've heard that dragons aren't catagorized by elements or colors but by nature. If anyone has more information on this idea please e-mail me! Click on the link to e-mail me! Thanks! ~Eteroth

I also have a dragon friend. It's blue and i haven't talked to it yet but it protects me. I will provide more info on my dragon friend in the protection section. i would also like to make a note about white and black dragons. black dragons are chaos dragons and go about destroying things (for the better or the worse). in their wake is the white dragon, for it also stands for rebirth and creates from the chaos many things. hence a black dragon is a change dragon, but it could not bring complete change without the help of the white dragon....it's also an interesting note of balance.... ~Aryar
