You're a Bad Person
The government makes sure we feel guilty.
It doesn't have to be our fault. You don't have to do anything. You just have to feel guilty.
And when you're feeling good and guilty, they make you an offer your conscience just won't let you resist.
Little do you know, they "reinvest" the 50$ you donated to stop world hunger into somethign useless like adding potholes to streets in New York.
The governent sucks. It serves absolutely no purpose other than to force everybody to conform to an abstract concept of "right and wrong".
The national deficiet bothers me. How can we be the "wealthiest" country on Earth if we have a 3 trillion debt? Who do we owe this money to anyways?
I think that the government should start investing its money into somethign worthwhile, rather than spending ridiculous amounts of money on superfluous programs.
Like DARE. Whoever thought that one up is an obvious cretin. It. Doesn't. Work. You'll become an addict despite all the fucking "drug abuse resistance education" t-shirts and bumper stickers in the world. It depends on what you want.
You've got a choice.
Kiddies, and all other young potential skag-heads and speedfreaks, go write your local and national politicians letters saying you want to see some REAL good done by your parents tax money, and that they should quit blowing their money on government-funded programs that don't work.
They're really dense, so they'll probably need a list of third world countries to give money too.
While you're at, you can look up who we owe all that money to.
The Republican theme song this year is that old Who song, "Teenage Wasteland".
Everyone's concerned with the problems caused by teenagers, and another infintesmal sum of money is spent researching that problem.
Drugs. Sex. Violence. Masochism. Yep. Those are big fucking problems.
Mr> Fat Politician, go concentrate your efforts on something worthwhile, sir.
All those drug and censorship laws are worthless. It's like a communist mentality- the laws are only there so people will conform to a preset morality.
Isn't that what religion is for?
Anyways, it's like the government is abducting the concept of "free choice" from people, saying that it is "in their best interests" form it to protect them from themselves.
Basically, America is turning into a horde of uneducated, biased people who don't have a single original thout in their heads, who go out into the world and are appalled at what they see.
Then they learned that it existed the whole time, and they feel betrayed by the government because it filtered all the bad parts of life away from you.
And so they go out and become drug addicts like myself.
