One day Gem and Andy got a new video game. The only problem was that it was really dumb because it was a Barbie video game. And guess what? They loved it!
"Wow! Look at it!" Gem exclaimed.
"I know. Isn't it wonderfull, Gem!" Andy replied.
"We have to buy it."Gem said.
So they went to the checkout.
"Um . . you want to buy uh. . .this?" The Checkout Guy said.
"Uh yeah? And what else would we buy?" Andy replied.
They went straight to Andy's house to play the game.
"Wow, this is great!" Gem said happily.
"I know, we should called anyone else over." Andy said.
"Why not?" Gem asked.
"Because then we would have to share with more people." Andy ansewered.
"Oh, yeah." Gem said.
Just then the rest of the band walked in and what they saw made them laugh so hard they peed their pants.
"Stop laughing at us!" Gem yelled, embaressed.
"Yeah! Your just jealous!" Andy said defensively.
"Straighten up. You're late for a band meeting." Noel said.
"Yeah. You have to stop playing that right now!" Liam exclaimed.
"YOU CAN'T MAKE US!!" Gem screamed.
"STOP YELLING AT ME!!!" Andy yelled almost in tears.
"Alright you two, stop all this nonsense right now!" Noel said.
"I want my Mommy! Wahhh!" Andy and Gem both said.
"We are not going to stop playing." Gem said detirmined to defend his video game not matter what it took.
"You have to!" Liam exclaimed.
"No! I don't want to work!" Andy yelled.
So, they all left very angrily.
On the way back to their houses. . .
"Do you think we should replace them?" Liam asked.
"We'll give them one more chance." Noel said.
Meanwhile, back at Andy's house. . .
"Hey, didn't you just have a game over?" Gem asked.
"No!" Andy replied.
"You did! Didn't you?!?" Gem yelled, deeply hurt and angered.
"No, I didn't! I had a 'You did a bad outfit!'" Andy said, trying to defend himself.
"No, it's not a 'bad outfit,' it's 'your outfit didn't match!'" Gem yelled.
Back at Noel's house. . .
"Let's go see what they're doing." Liam said.
"Okay." Noel agreed.
So they got in the car and went to Andy's house. When they walked into the door they saw Andy and Gem fighting over who's turn it was.
"No, it's my turn!" Gem exclaimed.
"Are you crazy? It's clearly my turn!" Andy yelled.
"This has gone far enough!" Liam yelled at them.
Liam walked over to the video game player and took out the game cartiridge and threw it out the window and it got drove over by a car.
"Hey! We were playing that." Andy said.
"Yeah, why did you do that, Liam?" Gem said.
"You weren't play that, you were fighting over it!" Liam replied.
"And you weren't doing anything for the band." Noel siad.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Gem said.
"I guess we were letting the game take over our lives. But I am going to miss that game, it was the best game!" Andy said.
