Tidus and Auron's Trip to Besaid

Tidus looked at Shiva, “so were ready to leave.”

Shiva smiled, “yes. You guys are still weak, mind that. But you’re fine to be on your way.”

Auron clapped Tidus on the shoulder, “should we be on our way then. I expect Yuna will be glad to see you.”

Tidus smiled, “and I’m sure everyone will be glad to see you too.”

“Peace be with you,” Shiva called, fading away.

“Creepy,” Tidus muttered.

Auron glared at Ifrit, “and why do we have to wear these?” He was holing up two nun dress robes, with hoods, that would cover their faces.

Ifrit sighed, “It’s just for the people’s safety. And yours. If people see you before it’s announced that you have returned, they might think you’re fiends and attack you.”

“Announced?” Tidus squirmed, feeling uncomfortable.

“Yes, as the High Summoner, it’s Yuna’s job to let Spira know that two heros who was thought to be dead are in fact alive.” Ifrit smirked, “they don’t have to know every detail.”

“Exactly how long have we been gone?” Auron sighed, giving Tidus the smaller robe.

Ifrit looked to the sky, “it’s been nearly three seasons.”

Tidus was amazed, “Three years!”

Ifrit nodded, “yes, after Sin was defeated, three years passed.”

“Oh, anything big happen while we were gone,” Tidus asked?

“Oh yes,” Ifrit waved his hand and a screen appeared in front of him. It showed, Yuna, Rikku and a dark-haired girl battling some machina. There was two other groups near the three, giving them back up. One group consisted of a scantily clad woman, a short fat man and a tall skinny man, the other group consisted of a handsome blonde al behd wearing an eyepatch, and an older cyborg looking man. There was also a silver haired man riding the machine, playing a piano, seeming to control the thing.

“What’s going on,” Tidus asked as he watched, Yuna . . . who by the way, looked more like Rikku then herself, shoot a gun at the machine?

“High summoner Yuna and her friends are battling what we call Vegnagun.” Ifrit turned to Tidus and Auron and told them of Yuna’s journey.

“Oh. Wow, Yuna’s gotten stronger, Rikku too.” Tidus looked at the screen. “Who are those other people?”

“Ah, the women in Yuna’s group is Paine, a warrior who joined the Gullwings. The women in pink is Leblanc, the large man is Ormi and the tall man is Logos. The cyborg is Nooj, and the al behd is Gippal. The man in the machine is Baralai.”

“And this Baralai was being possessed?” Tidus looked at Baralai and noticed the glazed look in his eyes.

“Yes, the spirt of Shuyin possessed him.”

“And this Shuyin is like my double?”

“Yes, it is true that he looks very much like you. And his lover Lenne looked very much like Yuna.”

“Weird,” Tidus muttered.

“We’d like two chocobos please,” Tidus said to the young chocobo handler. The girl gave Auron and Tidus confused looks. Probably wondering what two nuns were doing traveling.

“Of course, where are you heading?”

“We need to get to Luca, to catch S.S. Winno, to Kilika.” Auron said, smirking at the look on the handler’s face. She probably never heard a nun with such a deep voice.

“Well in that case I’ll let you rent Taylor and Kevin, they have the most energy.” The handler walked into her stables, and came back out leading two chocobos. “The brown one is Kevin and the white one is Taylor.”

Auron took Taylor’s reins and Tidus took Kevin’s Reins.

“Please, once you get to the entrance of Luca leave them with my sister. She’s the handler that works there.”

Tidus smiled, “will do.” Auron handed over some gil, then got on Taylor.

As they walked away, he turned to Tidus, “this feels strange.” He was talking about riding side saddle.

“Well we are after all wearing dresses,” Tidus laughed, “it’d be hard to ride these guys the other way.”

Auron snorted, “I feel like a women.”

Tidus rolled his eyes, “I find that a tad bit sexist, Auron. Not all women ride side saddle.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

“Oh oh, look,” Tidus shouted, “Mushroom rock. We’re nearly to Luca!” He started to bounce up and down on his chocobo making it Kweh in annoyance.

“Calm down before he bucks you.” Auron clicked his tongue, signaling his chocobo to go faster.

“Spoil sport,” Tidus muttered, clicking his tongue, catching up with Auron.

“S.S. Winno docking at Kilika, passengers please be ready to disembark.”

“Yay! That’s us.”

Auron glared at Tidus. Even though Tidus couldn’t see his face, Tidus knew he was getting a glare.

“What?”

“You’re in a disuse as a nun. They don’t normally scream like a little girl.”

Tidus blushed, “Hey! I’m not a little girl.”

“Oh don’t pout,” Auron smirked.

“Hey, I’m not pouting!”

“Yes you are, I can tell by the way your voice sounds.” Auron clapped Tidus on the shoulder. “Lets go.”

Tidus and Auron made there way down the ramp and raised there eyebrows. Kilika was completely rebuilt. The last time Tidus had seen it, was after Sins attack, three years ago.

“Excuse me,” Tidus stopped a young girl. The girl looked at Tidus and bowed.

“Can I help you, sister?”

Tidus and Auron bowed, playing their roles. “When does the boat to Besaid leave?”

The girl smiled, “the boat leaves in five minutes, sister. You still have time to catch it.”

Tidus bowed again, “thank you.”

Auron and Tidus made there way to the ship leaving for Besaid.
