Mr. Kumar visited the distraught family yesterday, two days
after one of four armed youths shot the father of six to death
in his vehicle and then took refuge south
into Buxton. Singh's son,
Prem (right),
was conducting on the bus at the time. Mr. Kumar later
called on the leaders and other adults of Buxton to break
their silence and non-action and take appropriate steps to
dissuade the youths of or who use Buxton as a criminal haven
from becoming hardened criminals.
