Slippd on a bannana peel
breathing
but not speaking
sleeping
but not moving
nor making any sound
or sign
a sigh or look of pain
or anything else
that might imply awakening.


Shelved with th pickles
slowly
in delicate glass
by degrees fast
in decomposing
and calm and laid-back
relaxed with regards to this
continuous reclining.


So for medical science
examined
in parts
one by one
part intellectually stimulated
part distractedly rushing
slipping out at ten to
to meet with a tentative friend
at th Blue Dragon coffee house
where you lie
sacrifice dignity
for th sake of light relief
and say she died
