MAR/24/2001We play at Maywood Church tonight @7pm.We have a pre-release out for the full-length. 4 songs and 14 weird things for $3.
MAR/18/2001We recorded yesterday.It went very well.We got the drums,bass,guitars,and lead vocals for 7 songs. We have a tape unmixed and with no BG's and it rox. We're stoked.We go back in tomorrow to do the background and a solo, and maybe more. So thats the news.

MAR/03/2001We're scheduled to go into the studio to start recording on the weekend of March 16-18 2001.We'll start laying down tracks. Nothing is set in stone much now.Pretty much what we know is that we'll be starting work on the songs:"Fusco's Nose","Wasted Time","Change My Life","Escondido",and"BYQ".We'll inform you via this page of new news.
FEB/26/2001The show went well. A fair amount of people showed up for what has been coming out lately.News on recording... Not many defined details as of yet but we expect to head in to the studio with an arsenal of songs any week now and have the cd out in the summer maybe in time for c-stone. How did y'all like "wasted time"?

JAN/14/2001 So JD is back in the band things so far have been going as good as they ever did, which is a good sign. No problems going on. WE HAVE A SHOW THE LAST FRIDAY OF FEBRUARY AT HIS CUP HERE IN TOWN, ROCKFORD ILLINOIS. NO OTHER BAND YET BUT THERE WILL BE.
JAN/10/2001 Well, it's been a while since the last news report but there really isn't much to report. JD quit starting his freshman year in H.S. (He's a youngin'). So we recruited Justen to help us record most of whats left. We've been trying to record with Herr Hitman but it hasn't worked out yet. Justen seemed not interested so we decided not to force him and left. I called up JD and asked if he wanted to do a christian cover band just to play out so thats what we're planning on doing right now, but with ourluck you never know. So for the moment there is no Melvin Fell. BooHoo. But we plan on trying to finish up our stuff and find a drummer. Anyway like anyone reads this. If anyone visits here sign the guestbook please. I need to know if anyone ever comes to this MF page.
JULY/01/2000 Mr.The Kid is heading out to Cornerstone tomorrow. Will you find my sheets of paper? JUNE/23/2000 Melvin Fell is going to be recording again in July for our 2nd full-length(yet to be named) with our previous drummer Herr Hitman and we'll be doing a couple songs with JD for a project too. Check out the Chronologgy page. It lists all of our appearances including where, when, with whom, and when members joined and left. Have a look-see.
APRIL/27/2000 J.D.(our new drummer) is coming along nicely. Although we've only practiced once but there is more to come.
APRIL/09/2000we have acquired a new drummer. We'll see if it all works out. Our first "real practice" will be this week (most likely). Look for info and show dates after a while.
MARCH/14/2000:For anyone who cares, (like anyone visits here anyway),our march 17th show is cancelled (for us).Herr Hitman's last show was the 3rd. We'll be looking for a drummer now. He's moving on, getting a job,got engaged, we wish him the best of luck we'll be praying for him, and may God bless. Tim as I write this is on his way to New York state (he travels with his job) but has recently come back to the band and plans to permanently stay in and switch jobs late this year, to commit better to the band. For now we're working around the odd schedule. In TIGHT BUDGET RECORDS news, the compilation is almost complete but still needs a few more bands if anyone is interested. We also have a few secrets iun store for the future. Please drop on by later to learn the inside poop.

FEB/24/2000:March 3 show will be with our drummer's other band "Cultural Infedels" we then will play in His Cup's battle of the bands on March 17th with 2 more bands.We don't expect to win but it's nice(and fun) and to play out. admission is $2.00 please come to our shows. I can give you directions........
