Chapter 2

The most important thing I learned as a writer was that I could do anything I wanted. If I wanted to make a chapter a little aver a paragraph then I darn well do it. However you don’t get powers like that with guys. Guys are like lost sheets of paper with a foreign language written on it. A girl’s job is to take that foreign language class and decode that paper that way. Experience is key my friends.

My job as the writer is to paint mental pictures and be the director of the mini movie in your head. So here goes:

My name is Racheal, simple enough. I am a writer. I write books, articles, lyrics, poems, whatever floats my boat. The thing portraying my love interest is Taylor, maybe you’ve heard of him. He’s in a band, Hanson. Taylor is 26, I am 25 as of right now. We’d been dating for about six years. Sounds perfect doesn’t it? Yea, well you’re wrong. You see Taylor had a little problem with commitment. ‘But you’ve been dating for six years,’ you are saying. Haven’t you seen, The Bachelor?, same scenario and good analogy with the wild mustangs. Well in chapter one as you can see, I got fed up with it. Allow me to fill you in on some more information you may like to hear. As a part time job I work at a small coffee house, which is strange because I hate coffee. But it required a certain degree to be dolphin trainer so I took the next best thing. I go to post graduate school as well, majoring in literature and fine arts. Taylor already finished college and is carrying on with the band.

I’ve known Taylor since he was 14, at the time not that well. For about two or three years we were just acquaintances but when he was 16 we were at a party and he said, "hi," which is more than what I would have said. After that we were friends through the rest of the teen years and things levitated form there. On to the good stuff, ‘nough narration.
