Biography - It began just over a year ago, three young men at a party! It clicked. Mike Nemisz on guitar / vocals, Marc LeBlanc on Bass / Backups, and Mike Thornton on the drums. Two weeks later at practice the first tune was written (My Community). Our first appearance in Oshawa was with Jersey and LNS! Wow, what a show that was. We got tons of good feedback. At the time the style we put out was a hardcore punk sound, since then a few things have changed. We went from the hardcore sound, into a more mellow sound, with a punchie tone. We made an addition to our band......we now have another man on guitar, Mike Smith, who you may know from No Such Luck. He added a ton of sweet riffs, and quick litlle ditties to our stuff, giving it an incredible kick. Then there's Mike Thornton with his VIRGIN TIGHT beats & fills, Marc LeBlanc with his poppy basslines, and ringing harmonies and, me, Mike Nemisz giving powerful progressions, and full out vocals, all combining to create Position Impossible's unique punk sound that makes you just want to jump around and kick some ass.
