Revelations
The loud rumble of Blackhawks can be heard, the backdrop of snowy mountain sides giving a loud contrast to the black paint job of the choppers. The small wing of two choppers moving alone the rippling scenery. From above the motion making everything blend in, a motion combined coloring of greys, greens and whites. Drawing in slowly, several small buildings set on a carved out section of mountain. Set into the face of the carved out base is what looks to be a building of sorts.
From within what looks to be a prison three men walk down a corridor, coming slowly upon a pair of double doors, the two armed with standard issue heavy assault lasers, bound in a specialized alloy armour, black with specialized white outlines that look like a rib cage. Their heads unprotected although the helmets are latched to their belts. The only thing distinguishing the two is one with bright green hair while the other has black hair. The man pulling up the rear dressed in a business suit, his skin tone very light for a man of African-American decent. Griped in his hand being a very thick folder, papers nearly falling out of it.
"Dr. Keldov, are you sure you want to see the subject now," inquired one of the guards, his hands loosely gripping the rifle, releasing it momentarily to press a button in midstride, the doors before them instantly opening.
"Yes, quite so. This 'man' is of great interest to me, one of my first attempts at genetic experimentation. I'm surprised he didn't 'melt' down like the rest of the experiments."
"Your first? I've only heard speculation on that, care to expand."
"Of course, now shut up and do your job."
A mutter folloed by a gruff reply of yessir passes the lips of the guard. Coming upon a glass hallway, to the right a testing facility easily seen, one man, held aloft in a tube of liquid and bound by wires and life support devices keeping him alive. To the left a one way mirror giving a look outside, the sighting of the blackhawks making Keldov a little more nervous. He shakes off the feeling and then turns looking towards the subject. Upon closer inquiery the man looks to be exactly twenty-four, his blue and silver hair flowing in the water.
Keldov lips curled to a grin as he entered the room, the two guards doing a prompt about face and placing their weapons down momentarily, placing their helmets on, the skulls formed into the armour hiding their faces, even the faceplate was a special substance allowing for the men to see out but no one to see in.
Keldov set the folder down upon a table a few feet from the tube, he then turned and looked towards the tube, he brought his fingers up, caressing it softly. His lips curling to a grin momentarily as the subjects eyes fluttered open, the violet irises of his eyes focusing upon Keldov. Keldov brought a hand to the tube, caressing it as he looked directly into his subjects eyes, addressing him as though he's known him for life.
"We meet again DeMares... so glad we've finally found you. Oh and don't try any of the Na'Tessai trickery you've become fond of. It won't work within the containment your in."
A broad smirk passed his lips as he looked upon Luccas, he brought his hands behind his back and leaned back momentarily on his heels, transfixing his eyes to the monitoring equipment.
"Yes, I am amazed that you were such a ready host. To be more blunt, even more amazed that you didn't melt down like the others. DeMares... I'm amazed that a genetic... the words escapes me, ahh yes abomination, such as yourself survived."
Keldov turned his back on Luccas and flipped open the file, the first page showing the body schematics and mappings of four seperate species. His lips folded into a distinct frown... his head shaking. "A disgusting creature you are, human... elf... demon... and those grotesque alien temporal raiders. But I guess soemwhere they all melded," He quieted a moment, then turned towards Luc, "Yes, quite so... the unearthed wreckege near the complex was quite a find. You were never quite all mine, your just a finished product."
Luccas' form fell limp within the tube, The monitoring systems kicking up suddenly. Keldov studied the impulses, and thought to himself -increase... impossible, unless....-.
The form of the subject within the confines of the tube convulsed momentarily, his eyes jolting open... though locked in thought. Raging within a mere vision, a darkened form within his mind. A flash, his eyes opening wide as he looked down upon Keldov, the doctor curiously watching Luccas in curiosity, the equipment within recording the information on both tape and the monitoring devices.
A flash... that's all it was in his mind... the flash becoming a slow pulse. Mixing with the hate and emotion... the mixed emotion of wondering. Keldov merely looked up, smiling intently.
"Yes DeMares, you are nothing more than an experiment... unearthed. Possibly done by the Gene Splicers, geniuses they were. And even moreso to have implanted you with such a unique energy. But this... this is so different, even before you never had readings quite like this."
The flash again in his mind... the increased thought processes not registering upon the machines not alerting Keldov to the flare. Luccas' eyes closed, the blood red tinges in his mind echoing as his body convulsed again. A sudden flash and hum... shattering glass. A scream and falling. The sound of triggers pulled and then two thuds. Another crashing of glass.
Hours later two men enter, garbed in suits much like Keldov's. They looked down upon Keldov momentarily, Keldov looked up to meet their glares. The blasted out glass and burning equipment smoldering, the folder missing. The two men smiled momentarily as they looked down upon the good doctor.
"And where's the subject?"
"Gone..."
"Interesting... interesting indeed."
The other man, silently withdraw a pepperbox laser pistol and unload the two shots into Keldov's head. The two turned quietly and walked away.
"Bradford will be dissapointed to hear of the failure."
