Duckys of a Feather and They Flock Together
There..did you hear it my three children?
That soft fluttering of the wings?
Answer me this children, what is yellow, fluffy, adorably cute and goes quack quack?
Yes Jimney your correct it tis a duck.
Now this is the story I will tell you, but it's very short so after this I want you to get your runt-tailed cabooses up to bed
all right?
It started out a long time ago in early springtime. Flowers had just begun to bloom and the bee's were buzzing and
birds were chirping and all that springly nature was full of life of it's own. Now two creatures, no one knows precisely
what they were, maybe they were dogs or coyotes or some other related wolf-creature.
But two of them had been roaming around the forest-side.
Now one day a mama duck and her three young ducklings were swimming around as nice as they please happy and
carefree.
Then one of the ducklings wandered off on it's own all alone and scared.
It began calling in a medium sized tone for it's momma, but the momma didn't hear the calls.
One of the creatures had heard the ducklings calls and began moving towards it.
The other two ducklings and mommy just happened to be swimming very nearby and heard the duckling crying for
rescue. The momma hatched a plan to save her duckling.
Quacking aloud both the momma and her ducklings(The two with her) started throwing gooey clay on the creature's
face.
It spat and dropped the duckling. Then with an alarmful cry the momma called all the other ducks in the area to assist
her.
In seconds the second creature came to investigate what was going on.
Suddenly the sky was blotted out with nothing but quacks and yellow feathers. Close to 600 ducks had arrived. They
began slapping goo and doo all over the creatures and then grabbed the creatures up with their bills flapping way high
into the air. Then with a final quack the two creatures were dropped into a nearby well and never seen again. The
morale to my story? Well my children the morale to the story is never anger a duck or risk getting covered in goo and
doo and dropped down a well where you'll spend the rest of your life picking off yellow feathers.
Now run along...and goodnight.
