The Blackmoon Stories: Going to Extremes
It is the stillness of darkness that I most fear brother. As I write upon these pages of my journal I hope so deeply that
only you find this.
You see I have a secret. My beloved and I had met a long time ago in a far off island. She was captivatingly beautiful
and as slim and wonderful as a man could ask for. The darkness was spreading like a wildfire with a vengance and
thirst for blood and my very own beloved was captured. I gave my life to save her from damnation my brother. Don't
ask how these journal pages were written just read carefully.
After I released shanara that was my last sight to see. My last breath was to my beloved of how much I love her.
Shanara was freed brother.
There is a staff in the forest of willow's end.
The staff contains the spirit of del-khar. Del khar at one time was a mighty and powerful wizard. Find this staff before
an evil can claim it's powers brother. please. Once you get the staff there will be a new journal entry in here for you.
Take care and kind heart. Tal-hetrah.
I reread my brother's journal to make sure it was indeed his handwriting and it was unmistakable in all aspects.
I decided to do as he left.
I left that day early morning sunshine glowing down on me as I made my way past point's peak and headed for willow's
end.
It was only another ten minutes walk.
Then I saw two groups of bandit's arguing one group. a group of orc's held the staff. The other group a group of human
thieves were arguing.
Well as it happens a fight broke out between the two groups and several were killed by the other.
Both humans and orc's fell to their deaths leaving only the leaders of the orc and human sides alive.
I walked forward causually unafraid as they were only two of them now.
The orc already injured turned to look at me then at the human. The orc fled the scene as quick as he could.
The human theif wanted the staff for himself.
I however called out a propostion.
"Sir, I say sir." I called to the theif. "Perhaps we can make a trade, 200 gold pieces for that staff!" I offered. The theif
frowned and then handed me the staff taking his two hundred gold greedily.
I brought the staff home with me and went to look at my brothers journal after I set about for a snack.
I had a nice stew. it was moist and delicious.
As I opened the book I saw my brother's face. I was shocked.
"Brother marcus." the face in the book said.
"Take the staff to the temple square in anstalaga. There I will meet you again."
I Closed the book and prepared to leave when I saw something in the shadows.
I began walking the trail down the mountain towards the road for anstalaga but soon became quite weary and tired I
fell asleep.
When I awoke not only was I tied to the bottom of a horse. But I was tied wrong end to wrong end.
My head was close to the yuck..the private's of that horse and my leg's to it's neck
Bleah the stench was overwhelmingly cruel.
A smirk fished off the face of a girl walking beside the horse.
"well namal it seems our guest has awoken to your lovely fragrance." the girl said.
The horse whinnied in reply.
"Who are you and why am I like this?"
I demanded. "I am austilena, and you dear fellow are now my saddle."she said.
"your saddle? I do not think so!" I cried aloud.
"Oh but see? your already where you belong heheheehe." she said.
Is this how it ends I wondered. Am I doomed to live the remanents of my life as a horse's undergarment?
Find out next time on the conclusion of the going to extremes saga.
