You scream and cry and rant at me,
Wondering why it is I've hurt you…
I growl and mutter beneath my breath,
Saving my words for last…
You sigh and shake your head quietly,
Knowing it may all be through…
I frown and scowl all at once,
Knowing the final cards to be cast…
You dish out insults and berating galore…
Wondering why the emotions pour…
Glistening tears upon specked cheeks…
Slowly the world does tumble…
We watch each other quietly,
Hatred mingling with sorrow and pain…
You mutter softly to get out,
I shake my head and wish to talk…
You scream it once more for all to hear,
Your tears so hard to feign…
I sigh and close my wretched eyes,
My face ashen and ghostly chalk…
Sorrow parting licking at the wound…
Emotions lacking, yet once I had so mooned…
We gaze at each other once more…
Speechless and always so humble…
You sob once more expressing volumes,
Your hand pressing along your face…
I frown darker yet in sorrow,
Worried that I have hurt you…
You wipe at the tears frustrated and tense,
Leaving little sadness behind, nothing of a trace…
I cry for once, and shake my head,
Weeping at a loss of what to do…
We part our ways in search of hope…
Finding ways of which to cope…
The pending loss that rips the inner sanctum…
The good byes a faint and distant mumble…
Finally we meet again,
In days of future far and ahead…
We gaze at each other remembering,
Harder times of sorrow and remorse…
Ebbing tides of pain and strife,
Remembering the days of a softer bed…
We're smiling quietly between the distance,
Grinning like fool's of course…
Darkness parts to admit the light…
No longer shunned, we know what's right…
The loss and longing gone for now…
Walls of hate and anger, slowly begin to crumble…
We are one you and I…Never to be apart…
Bumpy roads ahead and behind we see…
You'll always be a part of me…
