In a Shell
Under a layer of the hardest rock
lies the most frail porcelainBR>
I see the rock stacked compact hard
for none to touch or peal
I hear the porcelain
crack inside
shattering slowly
from the pressure outside
Through the windows of your soul
you cannot forever hide
your dry chin turn away strong
walk away with head high
alone in the dark
salty rivers flow
all rip in you
alone they cut deep
Slicing at your hide of massive stone
merely bruise the face
a gentle touch along this armor
near shatter its inner
fire breeds fire
to burn you more
water floods water
to drown you all
why do we have this shattering frail mass
that surely get us all
bring it to an island where it belong
I don't need it here
I wish it was gone
if I had the dreams
that live in
the ignorant fool
