Snowboarding is a very stimulating sport, but for me it can be dangerous. While snowboarding i have ended up with several concussions, and a broken arm. For most people this would mean the end of the sport, but for me it just means more fun once I recover from the previous accident. I try to go snowboarding as often as possible in the winter, which isn't very often due to the fact that it costs quite a bit. Snowboarding is very fun and often rewarding, and I am still striving to come out of it with no further injuries!

Moshing, though not classified as a sport, is a great workout, which gets your adrenaline flowing and your body dripping sweat. Whenever a punk or rock band comes to Calgary you can bet that I will be there moshing my brains out. Most people in the moshpit are guys who are at least a foot taller than me, which means I get stuck smelling their armpits. Usually I end up getting crushed and breaking something, but that just means I am at the next concert making up for the time lost due to the injury. If you want to lose weight then just go to concerts!

First aid is one of my passions. I have a strong desire to help those in need, and possibly save lives. I one day hope to be a doctor in the Emergency Room and treat children. I love blood and gore and helping in any way possibly to prevent further injury and promote life. First aid is a worthwhile course for anyone and I highly recommend taking one!
