who are we?
In 1975, Sauvetage Canada Rescue: the Volunteer Group was founded in Quebec. The group is a multi-disciplinary, non-governmental organization (NGO). SCR's personnel are versatile and work on a volunteer basis to assist the authorities in emergency situations. The group is composed of active, reserve and affiliate members involved in operations, technical services (including a canine section), or support services. Members receive dynamic training and work hard towards accomplishing our mission: to save lives through education, prevention and rescue.
The Volunteer Group Sauvetage Canada Rescue is a non profit organisation, as well as a charity organisation incorporated with a federal charter. Its registered charity number is 868084666RR01. |
