Burnt - Oh wait, we're back. Ahem ahem. Sorry 'bout that, folks. Welcome back, and thanks to Philly. Matt Piperooy sure sounds confident, don't you think, Davros?
Davros - … I guess.
Burnt - Pro-fess-ion-al. Be professional. Moron.
Davros - Don't call me a moron, then. Beneath this shrivelled body and mobile trashcan locomotion system beats a fragile heart, vulnerable to the slings and arrows of such offensive and hurtful jibes.
Burnt - Whatever.
Davros - Homo.
Burnt - Folks, I apologise whole-heartedly for Davros's attitude.
Davros - And I apologise for Burnt's.
Burnt - *sigh* … let's try and get on, shall we?
Davros - As you will.
Burnt - I'm hearing that in just a few minutes, the two men will head out to the ring! Let's run through the rules of tonight's match, which will determine the 2003 Bar Room Brawl champion! Davros?
Davros - Okay. Tonight's match is an Anime Unleashed match! Our two wrasslers will be put toe to toe in a match with various famous props from animes, which are Japanese cartoons.
Burnt - Ooh, I heard that there'd be schoolgirls. Awesome!
Davros - Sadly, not. But there are schoolgirl uniforms. Let's go take a look at the ring.
We head on over to a view of the ring. The fans cheer and wave as they see themselves on the giant video wall.
Davros - There we see a gigantic robot, just like in Gundam Wing. It has real weapons attached to it, and so that could come into play. There's a sword based on Goku's in Dragonball, and also a model of the spaceship from Tenchi Muyo.
Burnt - What the hell are all these shows?
Davros - They're anime cartoons. Japanimation rocks!
Burnt - I always thought it seemed like the kind of thing only people who like to pretend they're cool like, when they're in fact, complete geeks.
Davros - Yeah, well, maybe. But cool geeks!
Burnt - Hey, what's that? That's a cool bike!
Davros - That's an exact replica of the motorcycle used in Akira.
Burnt - Oh. 'Kay.
Davros - The fans have really made an effort, too.
There's fans dressed like characters from Sailor Moon, Bubblegum Crisis, Dominion Tank Police and all the other excellent cartoons, and even some American guy completely misunderstanding the idea, being dressed as the Hulk.
Burnt - The Japanese fans are certainly enthusiastic. Are we ready for the match to begin?
Davros - I guess so, we're just waiting for –
