The Dark Revolution

This story will get a major makeover real soon, and I'll be completing it... so check back to see what progress I've made

Chapter 1: The tiny Mew rested peacefully on the sun warmed rock. The days have gown longer since its awakening, and the epic battle with its genetic offspring, Mewtwo. Now it rests, no longer worried about the threats of the world, no longer wondering what will become of itself. The days grow longer, the nights get colder. Time passes without though, emotion, or care.
A shadowed figure interrupts Mew's bathing in the warmth of the sun, his skin grows cold. Mew's eyes open to find Mewtwo, the genetic offspring of Mew who was bent on defeating the world's top Pokemon trainers to prove its vast superiority.
"Do you feel that?" Mewtwo's words could be heard inside Mew's mind. The tiny creature looked up at Mewtwo, then sensed what had frightened his genetic counterpart. "I don't know what it is either, but it's getting closer. Do you think we should stay here, or go find out what it is?"
Mew looked at Mewtwo, still attempting to make sense of the immense evil force that was wondering near the two. Mewtwo turned to the direction the force was coming from.
"We wait", the words entered Mew's mind again. Mew, settled back down onto his rock, more alert than his previous state had been.
Hours passed, Mewtwo still posted, staring into the vastness of the Silver Mountains. Ever ready to face the evil that was heading for the two. For once, Mewtwo was frightened, not knowing what he will face once the power he had felt reaches its destination. Never before had he sensed the evil that this being possessed.
Sending Mew's thoughts, Mewtwo turned his head to face the small creature. "Soon, it should be just beyond the Indigo Plateau, closer even".
The bright sunny day had turned to late afternoon, the sun just beginning to set over the Silver Mountains. These mountains were the only place Mew felt that he would be safe from the world. Now, even that was going to be taken from him.
The dark figure raced across the forest, never resting, never pausing. It knew what it had to do, and it would do this for the sake of its cause. Its claws swaying to the rhythm of its running, pushing onward. The task would be difficult, but the prize, everlasting. It was going to do what others dare not, it was going to take out the single, most powerful Pokemon on the face of the earth, or it would die trying.
Time passed on, and the silver mountains were as dark as the night sky they rested on. Mewtwo meditating, drawing power from the earth. Needing every ounce of strength it could muster. There was going to be a fight, no doubt. Why else would a power such as this be heading for him?
It was nearing, already reaching the Silver Mountains. Now, the encounter with the being that gave off such an evil power was closer than Mewtwo realized.
A figure leaped from the night, darker than the pitch black sky itself. Screeching, it extended its claws and went for Mewtwo. Mewtwo, and Mew, were startled by the beings surprise attack. Mewtwo quickly lifted his arm and out stretched his hand creating a barrier between him and the creature.
The creatures claws ripped through the psychic barrier Mewtwo had created, leaving Mewtwo defenseless against the evil being. It jolted back, planning its next attack, while Mew was still contemplating the nature of the being.
"Who are you?" The words could be heard in Mew's head, as well as the other being's.
"My name is Damion, follower of the Dark Sect", The creature replied.
"You are a Sneasel, a dark Pokemon, with claws that are like blades", Mewtwo analyzed Damion. "Why do you seek to destroy me?"
"For the sake of the dark revolution", Damion explained, "We dark Pokemon are sick of you psychics always thinking you are the better, well, not any more. I am on a mission, to kill the strongest psychic Pokemon, so there will be nothing to stand in our way of destroying all psychic Pokemon in the world. The revolution is now, are you ready?"
Damion leaped into the air, this time extending its claws even further out. He was heading straight for Mewtwo, and with his psy barrier useless, the Sneasel could easily rip him to shreds.

Chapter 2: Mew, sensing Mewtwo's danger, cast confusion on Damion. The Sneasel fell to the ground, then staggered to his feet. He slashed in all directions, not knowing where Mewtwo was.
"So, the greatest being in the world has to have a partner help him in his battles? Pathetic if you ask me," Damion mocked Mewtwo.
Mewtwo glanced at Mew, and Damion's confusion was gone. "There, just you and me, one-on-one." Mewtwo prepared himself.
Damion dashed at Mewtwo, and Mewtwo cast confusion on Damion. Again the Sneasel slashed the air with is razor like claws. Mew gave a little laugh in his head. Mewtwo followed up his confusion attack with psychic attack. The wave of mind energy sent Sneasel flying through the air, but he got up right away, unharmed.
"Your pathetic psy attacks have no effect on me, dark Pokemon prevail over psychic", Damion laughed at Mewtwo's attack.
Gathering his thoughts, Damion rid himself of confusion. Again he could take Mewtwo down easily. Smiling, Damion faded into the night. Mewtwo tried to sense his location, but he couldn't. As soon as he had faded, Mewtwo was knocked down by Damion who had appeared in front of him.
"Like it?" Damion mocked, "That is faint attack, totally undectecable to the psychic mind, but incredibly powerful."
Mewtwo levitated to his feet, feeling the effects of the first ever attack to hit him. In his mind he could not win, but in his heart he felt he must. Mewtwo started to meditate, his mind becoming one with the earth. Damion, not knowing what attack this was, sat back to see what the damaged Mewtwo was going to pull.
In moments, the ground was covered by a strange mist. The mist rose to cover the battle field that Mewtwo and the Sneasel were using. Damion looked around, all he saw was the strange mist Mewtwo had created. Damion took a fighting position, scanning the area for his enemy.
Without warning, Damion was knocked half way down the mountain. Leaping to his feet, he tried to see anything that was around him.
"So, you like my mega punch attack? It's the only fighting move I know, but it knows how to dish it out", Mewtwo's words echoed through Damion's mind. "How about another one?" Again Damion was sent crashing to the ground.
The mist was beginning to fade, and Damion was weakened. Mewtwo had proven more than a match to the dark Sneasel. He looked up, and saw Mewtwo standing in front of him. Damion laid his head back down, sending the message of defeat to Mewtwo, but Damion didn't want it to be over.
The Sneasel hopped to his feet then bolted for the towering Mewtwo. Sending slash after slash, Mewtwo was untouched by the razor claws. In a frustrated rage the Sneasel went all out with his attacks toward Mewtwo. None of which touched Mewtwo.
"Why can't I hit you!" Damion screamed.
"That's not me", the words entered Damion's mind.
"What?" He looked up to see the Mewtwo he thought he was attacking gone. Another mega punch came from behind and Damion knew it was over. "Kill me now, I have nothing more to live for. I have put shame to my cause, and now, I will perish." Damion stepped back, edging nearer to the end of a cliff. With a nod of defeat, he stepped the edge, and sent himself to his own death.
"Damion failed me", a shadowed figure explained to an onlooking crowd of dark Pokemon.
"How can you tell boss?" The small Murcrow beside him asked.
"I saw his defeat, Mewtwo could provide more resistance than a mere Sneasel could take down. It is time we send a full attack force after him. I should have know this would happen, especially to a weakling like Damion. Kupel!" He ordered, "Take your team and find Mewtwo, you should show no mercy."
"Yes sir", the Murcrow named Kupel squaked back. "Team, let's fly".
The armada of Murcrow took off, with the rest of the dark Pokemon looking onward. With Mewtwo as their target, and their boss to please, they would not fail.

Chapter 3: Mew, no longer posted on his rock, looked into Mewtwo's eyes with a concerned gaze.
"Yeah, there will probably be more. Damion was talking about his cause, and a revolution."
Mewtwo looked at Mew once more. "...and the destruction of all psychic Pokemon in the world. This is bad, we have to find help"
Mew levitated, and wisked around Mewtwo.
"All right, we will rest here for today, but we find help tomorrow."
The sun rose from the tips of the Silver Mountains. Light entering the valleys below where nocturnal Pokemon hid from the light, and other Pokemon ventured into it. It was the beginning of a new day, but for Mew and Mewtwo it holds old fears.
Mewtwo raised his head, the nights rest had done some good to him. Mew was already up and buzzing about his offspring.
"Okay, I'm up. Your anxious." Mewtwo was still groggy, the sun's brightness effecting his eyes. "We need help, and it looks like psychic Pokemon wouldn't be a good choice for this adventure, but we need to find as many psychics to protect them from the Dark Revolutionaries."
Mew nodded in agreement, so the two set out for the days trip, not knowing what the day will hold. Mewtwo levitated himself, and following Mew, flew off toward the Ilex forest.
"Is the friend of yours still living in the Ilex forest?" Mewtwo questioned Mew's decision to go there. "Well, I hope so. Who is he anyway?"
Mew's thoughts entered Mewtwo's mind. Mew was taking them to go see Celebi, the forest protector. Mew had known Celebi for many years, and hoped that he was still guarding the Ilex forest.
The forest was dark, and Mewtwo hoped that no dark Pokemon had followed them. He knew that dark Pokemon don't venture into the light often. The path to Celebi's shrine was hard to navigate, there were many trees and bushes the two had to dodge.
Mew stopped in mid flight, Mewtwo quickly halting after him.
"Yeah, I hear it too. Lets go have a look". Mewtwo responded to Mew asking about a noise he heard. As they approached what had caused the commotion, they saw a Espion being attacked by a group of Murkrows.
Mewtwo dashed down at the Murkrows, creating a barrier to knock them out of the way. The Murkrows were surprised, but quickly regrouped, and went after Mewtwo. Mewtwo led them around bushes, trees and other derbies.
"Okay, now!" Mewtwo stopped as the Murkrow flew toward him. Out of the forest a massive lightning bolt flashed at the Murkrow, taking them down.
The flock quickly flew off, many of whom were injured. Mewtwo met with Mew who has cast the lightning bolt attack (it would be possible for Mew to do a lightning bolt attack by using metronome). The two flew to where the Espeon had been attacked, finding it in a worse condition than they had thought.
"I thank you for helping me, but I am too far-gone." The Espeon managed to say through his dying breath.
"I am Mewtwo, and this is Mew. Don't worry, we'll help you," Mewtwo explained as he use a psychic move to levitate the Espeon. The three rushed off to find Celebi, hoping that he could heal the dying Espeon.
Mew buzzed around Celebi's shrine, Mewtwo tending to the Espeon.
"Mew, is that you? It sure has been a long time since you've viseted these woods," Celebi materialized in front of Mew. "Oh my goodness, what happened to that Espeon?" Celebi rushed over to the battered Pokemon, reached out his hands, and the Espeon began to glow. Its seemingly lifeless body began to breath again, and its eyes opened to see Mew, Mewtwo, and Celibi looking over it.
"You okay?" Celebi asked. The Espeon nodded. "Who did this to you?"
"It was a flock of Murkrow", Mewtwo explained. The Espeon returning to its feet. "We scared them away."
"Thank you again, but aren't you Mewtwo? I thought that you were evil." The Espeon said with a puzzled look on its face.
"I am Mewtwo, but by no means am I evil," Mewtwo answered. "This is Mew, my... father". The Espeon nodded. "Oh yes, and... Celebi I take it, protector of the Ilex forest.
"Oh yeah, that reminds me, what brings you all to my humble abode?" Celebi asked, bowing to the three.
"We need help, there is a group of dark Pokemon claiming to be revolutionaries, who wish to rid the world of all psychic Pokemon. We already had two encounters with them, but we can hold off any more, if they attack." Mewtwo explained the situation to Celebi, and the Espeon.
"Hmm... sounds like trouble. But, I can't help." Celebi apologized. "My place is in the forest, and this is where I am going to stay. Without me the forest would die."
"I'll help", the Espeon spoke up. "I want to get back at those Murkrow for what they did to me."
"All right", Mewtwo nodded. "We need any help we can get". Mew looked at Mewtwo, then at the Espeon with an inquisitive look. "Oh! You have a name?" Mewtwo asked.
"My friends all call me Wisper, so I guess you can call me that too." Wisper replied.
"Well, Wisper, know any other Pokemon we could get to help us?"
"Yeah, there's a tale about a psychic Pokemon with immense powers that lives in the Ruins of Alph. We could go ask him".
"To the Ruins of Alph it is", Mewtwo lead the pack as the three left for their new destination, waving goodbye to Celebi.

Chapter 4: "Why, when every thing seems to be going good, does that Mewtwo get in my way?" The mysterious figure slammed his fist on his throne. The aray of Pokemon in is council chambers wispered quietly to one another.
"Sir", Kupel began...
"No, no, no!" The mysterious figure complained, "No excuses. Just go, and don't return unless Mewtwo is dead!"
Mew was a little hesitant about going in the caverns of the Ruins of Alph. Mewtwo laughed silently at the small Pokemon, after all they had been through, Mew was afaraid of a little cavern. With some coaxing, he reluctantly entered, after Mewtwo and Wisper went in fisrt.
The cavern was surprizingly light inside. The runeistic writings on the wall must have held an ancient seceret, but that's saved for another story. Mewtwo, Wisper, and Mew pressed on, seeking this psychic legend.
"I wonder what all of these writings do mean, the Ruins of Alph hold many more secerets than anybody knows about but its self." Wisper commented, studying the runes.
The hussle of feet stoped, peering ahead into the darkness Mewtwo asked, "Do any of you hear that?"
"What?" Wisper silenced himself, and finally heard the strange chanting coming from the cave. It echoed through the walls, entering the three's minds as they listened to its hypnotic melody.
"Xatu, xa-xa-tu, xatu tu", the strange chant must have been coming from the Pokemon they sought.
As the three peaked around the corner of a part of the cave, they could see it. The fire-glow on the Pokemon's outstreached wings made it look even that mutch more mystical. Its eyes pierced through them, even though it wasn't looking directly at any of them.
"Greetings, I am Mewtwo..." Mewtwo began as he stepped forward, the other two tailing him. The Xatu's eyes closed as it went into some, mystic trance. The fire infront of the Xatu went out, leaving the four in near darkness. "Umm.. we need your help you see..."
He was cut short by Wisper knocking him out of the way. Mewtwo looked up to see what had happened, when a burst of psy energy from the Xatu shot through the cave, in the exact spot where Mewtwo had been standing.
"That's future sight," Wisper explained, getting to his feet once more. "It is said that Xatu tests all Pokemon who seek its help, and I think we just passed."
Mewtwo looked over at the Xatu, confused, but unharmed.
"I know who you are, and I know why you have come. I will help you, for I have seen a possible future that needs my help", Xatu's voice ringed throughout the caverns.
"Umm... okay. I guess that settles that", Mewtwo stagered to his feet, gathering his thoughts.
The sun was almost too bright to the four, after being in the cave for so long. Mew lead this time, happy to get out of the cave. Wisper was right behind him, with Mewtwo and Xatu following behind.
The sun was almost down, and the four decided to rest for the night. They days journy had been long, but so far there had been no threts against their lives. All in all the day had been good, but nightfall was coming, and the children were out for play.
Mewtwo, alert as ever, was keeping watch of the camp. He knew from that past two days that anything could happen, and it would. He noticed the flapping noise first, and the occasional "kaw" from the approaching group of Murkrow.
Mewtwo half way turned around, before stopping himself, "I need to beat them on my own", he though. "I am Mewtwo, I need no one's help".
Mewtwo took off, leaving the other three behind. He was going to take care of the Murkrow by himself, and prove that no one has anything on him.
